Superb SUV buying experience My wife and I were in the market for a new Subaru Outback and after many months of online researching both the vehicle and several different dealershi My wife and I were in the market for a new Subaru Outback and after many months of online researching both the vehicle and several different dealerships we decided that Subaru Calgary was where we would deal with as their reviews were all very high. We were never at any time disappointed. Our first contact was Loman Edwards in sales, who went out of his way to accommodate our requests. When we did find what we wanted we were able to make a very fair deal and we picked up the vehicle in a very timely fashion. This was the easiest new vehicle purchase I have ever been involved with. The finance manager, Ryan Romano, was super helpful in explaining the different options that were available to us and and between him and Loman made for a very pleasant experience. We now have our Subaru Outback that we are very happy with. We will certainly recommend Subaru Calgary to our friends and will continue dealing with them in the future. More

I am blown away by the help, guidance and service I got.. again. Yes. This is not the first time. Raj was excellent. She is very knowledgeable. She walked me through the maintenance manual, while filling it out she took time to explain the fields, timeline, the process. Her willingness to help with a huge smile made my day. She made sure I had shuttle in place and made follow up calls to make sure we were on track. After the maintenance was done and I was shuttled back to pick up my car. She came with the list of items on the work sheet. And went through all and explained the results, what was done, when/what I should be coming next for, and for what reasons. I highly recommend her. I am planning to upgrade my SUV in the near future. Rahat took great deal of his time and explained all the ins and outs and new features of new upcoming models. He is also very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. And he can explain everything in layman's terms. He followed up with the technical service to make sure all was in track. When I dropped of my SUV and picked up the next day Raj and Rahat were there both times. Saying their hello's and good bye's, making sure I was taken care of. Last but not least: By now you probably know that I don't know too much about vehicles. But what I'd like you to know is I LOVE my Subaru and the fantastic people work in this dealership. I was referred to this dealership by a friend 4 years ago. And I've been receiving this excellent support each and every time I go for a maintenance, tire change and all. You guys are amazing. Kudos to you. When I am upgrading it would be another Subaru and it will be from Subaru Calgary again. I have a huge confidence in people working at this dealership. Simply put I believe in them. First Time Buyer and Feeling Pretty Good My wife and I were moving to Alberta from Ontario and needed to buy a car to pick up once we landed in Calgary. We spoke with Nisar prior to our arriv My wife and I were moving to Alberta from Ontario and needed to buy a car to pick up once we landed in Calgary. We spoke with Nisar prior to our arrival and we negotiated a deal that was great for us. He was very understanding and patient with all of our back and forth emails. On arrival they picked us up from the airport and took us to the dealership which was great since we had all of our luggage and a cat with us. Nisar and the rest of the staff were very pleasant to deal with from the beginning to the end. They even let our cat stay in the dealership while we took care of everything. This was a very stressful time for us with the move and first time buying a new car, but their great customer service took most of the nerves away and I thank them for it. More
Wasted my time Had a deal worked out over three visits, Tariq said the owner agreed to it, then when it was time to sign and pick up the vehicle it was suddenly $175 Had a deal worked out over three visits, Tariq said the owner agreed to it, then when it was time to sign and pick up the vehicle it was suddenly $1750 more than agreed upon. I walked. He called me back to re-negotiate for the same price we originally agreed upon and the same game play happened again. I arrived to sign the deal and suddenly the car was not available 2 hours after we spoke on the phone and arranged the time. The finance manager raised his voice when we met together with Tariq and it became clear Tariq had been playing him against me. All of this for $2000below list price. Called Rally Subaru in Edmonton as I walked out the door and had my new car for the same original deal price within five hours. It was worth the drive. I would never recommend Subaru Calgary. More

Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced I found the ideal car for my wife here, went in drove it, loved it and were ready to make a deal. We left a deposit and went for lunch. When we returned we had them assess our old car for trade, to which sales person said, "you would have to pay us to take it." and went on to explain how they came to negative valuation. I was not happy with the condescending attitude. We continued with an offer anyway, they rejected and moved there price so little it made it very clear that this dealer has no interest in negotiating. Finance Manager Trina suggested we finance the balance, I'm paying cash I don't need financing, Trina replied, "champagne taste on a beer budget, good luck with that!" and walked off. I have never before been so offended by a sales team. To top off the horrible experience they were unable to return the deposit to our credit card. It took over 2 weeks to get our deposit back, it took many, many phone calls to the dealer to get a check mailed to us. I would warn anyone interested in a Subaru to be cautious with your money at this dealership. More
