Cody was very polite and considerate with my pregnant wife and I, making sure we stayed cool with plenty of water, etc. while he took the heat climbing in hot cars to show us the features. As I mentioned his patience is an asset - allowing both of us to test drive three separate vehicles, all with a smile on his face. His attitude and demeanor was a refreshing change after visiting several other dealers. The experience with management and finance was also very good; both Ken and Trina were personable as well as open and straight forward with us - something most appreciated when discussing the final deal. Overall, the Subaru almost sold itself on quality and drive alone, however the ultimate decision to come back and buy was due to our interaction with Cody. More

The dealership looked new and well kept. Our salesperson, Loman, was more than happy to discuss the vehicle we were interested in. Loman and I exchanged phone calls and emails, and he was very knowledgable about the product and procedures. He was very patient with us in going through with the next steps of the purchase. We had a very good experience when picking up the vehicle. The sales manager, Ken, and finance manager, Ryan, were very friendly and helpful. We asked a lot of questions and Loman and Ryan provided us with satisfactory answers quickly. Loman was very easy to work with and patiently and politely went through everything with us in the vehicle. Loman was very knowledgable and provided excellent customer service. I would recommend booking an appointment in advance with the dealership to have everything prepared. This would make your car buying experience more efficient and easy. This was our first time purchasing a vehicle outside of our home city and we are glad we dealt with Subaru Calgary. We were pleased to deal with Loman and drive home happy with the car the very same day! More

I came into the dealership to explore my options, however, because I still owed on my previous purchase of a used car from another city, I wasn't overly optimistic that my budget would allow for a trade in at this time. I had never driven a Subaru and was encouraged to take a test drive which I thoroughly enjoyed! The sale person who worked with me, Faisal was fun to work with - the more excited I got, the more he made me laugh and it was just a generally amusing experience! Then came the number crunching for the car I fell in love with, and low and behold it was out of my budget. When I let the GM, Derrick know this on the phone the next day and that I would have to spend at least another year in my current car which I detested, he said he would call me back in a bit. Incredibly, he worked to get me into the exact car I wanted with the accessory I was super pumped about (a tent that attaches to the back of the Impreza Hatchback for camping) and exactly within my budget. Not slightly above my budget so I can't sleep at night, but IN my budget, which also allowed room for the slight increase in my insurance for a brand new vehicle. Upon delivery the following day the whole team totally reflected my excitement! My experience with General Manager Derrick Koch, Sales Associate Faisal Nawaz and Finance Manager Trina Carreau was seamless, comfortable, ZERO pressure and so much fun!!! I LOVE my new car and I HIGHLY recommend Subaru Calgary...even if you never thought of yourself in a Subaru (because I hadn't for myself), you have to check these guys out and at least drive one, just for fun! More

low shop rates offset by ridiculous "shop materials" charge 40,000 km service was quoted at $440 plus tax. When I picked up the car I was told that there was an additional charge for shop materials of $47. It 40,000 km service was quoted at $440 plus tax. When I picked up the car I was told that there was an additional charge for shop materials of $47. It maxed out at $49 regardless of the invoiced cost. When I complained< I was told that it was standard. However, at the 20,000 km service, which is identical to the 40,000 km service, the shop materials charge was less than $6.00. It would appear that to make the labour rate appear reasonable at $125/hour this shop materials charge in fact increases it to about $145/hour. This is an unreasonable and deceptive charge that undermines my confidence in the dealership. I have otherwise been quite satisfied with other elements of the dealership but I will consider alternative service options in the future if this practice persists. More

Loving Our Subaru Outback We were recently in the process of purchasing a new 2016 Subaru Outback from Subaru Calgary. One of our prime requests were safety features and after We were recently in the process of purchasing a new 2016 Subaru Outback from Subaru Calgary. One of our prime requests were safety features and after several days of no response to inquiries about delivery and dealer add ons, we visited the finance manager expressing our concerns. He promptly agreed we had some bonafide issues and brought in the General Manager, who is new at this dealership. He carefully listened to our concerns and requested features on a new vehicle and soon addressed all of our requests to our complete satisfaction with our salesman present. On the day of actual delivery, the finance manager thoroughly explained his part of the transaction including dealer add ons and taking care of registration and insurance transfer. The General Manager met with us to be sure we were satisfied and the salesman completely explained the operation of the vehicle. We are very pleased with our new Outback and with how Subaru Calgary addressed our desires. More

We were never at any time disappointed. Our first contact was Loman Edwards in sales, who went out of his way to accommodate our requests. When we did find what we wanted we were able to make a very fair deal and we picked up the vehicle in a very timely fashion. This was the easiest new vehicle purchase I have ever been involved with. The finance manager, Ryan Romano, was super helpful in explaining the different options that were available to us and and between him and Loman made for a very pleasant experience. We now have our Subaru Outback that we are very happy with. We will certainly recommend Subaru Calgary to our friends and will continue dealing with them in the future. More
