Thanks, Paul (and Subaru Canada). Our vehicle work was booked in by Raj Toor. The process and timeline were clearly explained and we received regular updates. If we needed to call Raj we were able to get through to her, or if a message or email was left we would always get a prompt response. Our vehicle was completed on time, with no added surprises at the end! During all of our visits to the Service Dept, we noted how busy the place is. It appears to be very well-organized. All of the staff were efficient, and they maintained a friendly and helpful manner despite handling a large volume of customers. Good job everyone! An enjoyable experience at Subaru Calgary with Loman Edwards With an intent to replace our aging van, my wife and I went to Subaru Calgary and we were welcomed by Loman Edwards whom we have never met before. It With an intent to replace our aging van, my wife and I went to Subaru Calgary and we were welcomed by Loman Edwards whom we have never met before. It was our first time in a Subaru dealership. We first test drove the limited-edition 2017 Subaru Crosstrek ?? Kazan. The Kazan was great but we wanted to purchase something bigger with our budget; thus Loman worked very hard and found a fairly low mileage used Subaru Forester 2.5i Touring which suited our needs. We test drove the vehicle and were able to leave satisfied having concluded a fair deal. Loman spent the morning and the better part of the afternoon with us, ever so patient. We had a very good experience when picking up the vehicle too. Loman actually rushed back from an unscheduled delivery to Canmore to ensure that we were properly taken care of for our delivery. Throughout the experience, Loman provided a calm, yet reassuring approach to purchasing a vehicle that was an enjoyable experience overall. He particularly impressed us by being very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and efficient; and above all, having a positive attitude and provided excellent customer service. My wife and I were very impressed by his knowledge and kindness. He was able to address all our concerns and helped us to decide the right vehicle to purchase. This Kiwi certainly rocks. The sales manager, Ken Woo, was really accommodating and worked hard for the better part of the afternoon with us on the final price, taken into account our trade-in vehicle. And the finance manager, Ryan Romano, was also very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Overall, all of the staff were very professional during the entire process of joining the so-called “Subaru family”, from test drive to close the deal and picking up our vehicle. Based on this experience, we found that this team is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Subaru products they offered, and are definitely a force to recon within the dealer world. We are impressed and will definitely recommend Loman and this dealership to friends and other families to try out the Subaru vehicles. After a bad experience importing and some complications with a faulty inspection my fiancé and i were left without a car and stranded in Calgary(we li After a bad experience importing and some complications with a faulty inspection my fiancé and i were left without a car and stranded in Calgary(we live in lethbridge). Subaru has always been one of favourite car companies after owning a 2002 and falling in love with it so we stepped into Subaru calgary. We were taken care of immediately and found a car around our price range, only issue was that it still needed to go through an inspection and we still needed to get home. Luckily DereK(the GM) was kind enough to offer us a temporary vehicle(a brand new cross trek!) and said that once the inspection was completed on monday they would have someone drive it up to us and swap us for the loaner! Talk about service! unfortunately the vehicle a had a few issues within the first 5000km(oil related) and we had to take it in for servicing. when i called Derek he quickly made us an appointment for the only time we could drive the car down and were there the following day. Multiple staff greeted us when we arrived(not unlike the first time we came in) and we started to chat with Ivan and Derek. While our car was being looked at i was interested in a few other options and Ivan promptly found us the vehicle we were looking for. Derek took all steps necessary to swap out our existing vehicle so we could drive away that evening! while in the mean time we were given a subaru dog leash for our dog and small talked with friendly staff. we were truly taken care of and i would recommend Subaru Calgary for your next vehicle! After discussing the features that I wanted in a new vehicle, Vijay showed the Forester. We took it for a test drive and I was sold! The whole experience at the dealership was positive. Vijay is very thorough in explaining all the features of my new Forester and was great at matching my needs to the right vehicle. Ryan Romano in Finance was very helpful in switching the registration and insurance to the Forester and it was great to meet the Sales Manager, Ken Woo. WHAT HAPPENED ... IT'S ACTUALLY NICE TO GO IN NOW!!!! I went in with a friend today - she was thinking of purchasing a new 2017 Outback. I was initially reluctant to take her there, as previously, I found some of the Sales Managers there Pompous and Ignorant. I purchased both a 2012 and 2015 Outback there...and said I was never going back!!! Glad I gave it a second chance. We dealt with Travis Westin and Derrick (Sales Manager) mainly - an less so with Richard - the Assistant Manager. All three were attentive, paid attention to my friend's needs, and were respectful of the process!!! I was very tempted to upgrade my 2015 to a 2017 ... but trade-ins kinda suck! A pleasant place to spend 3.5 hours today. Thanks Travis, Derrick and Richard for making the experience great for my friend. She is one happy future Outback owner and is excited to pick her car up next week! I will definitely be back for an upgrade :-) ... the numbers just have to work!!!!
