The one of the main reasons for the that purchase is the dealership: both front -Showroom and the back- Shop. compare with another one in Calgary - Centaur. Crowded showroom and back shop looks dirty and tight.. This time, we would have outback ! a lot homework on research to find out the choice between 2.5 and 3.6 models. I went to Centaur first , The sale person is Mike, during the test drive, I asked if I could drive to the west end of Bow Trail, where is uphill 70km/h urban highway, we commute everyday, love XT which has tons power.... the sales Mike who was riding with me during test drive, asked me right away: " If we went there, you will find out 2.5 model has lack of power vs 3.6, Are you going to buy one today? " I looked at him said: "Mike, you are putting pressure on me.. " he replied: " Well, I spent time here, should be paid... " He asked me how much I would pay for the car? I gave the numbers, He looked at me said: " It's not even possible for last year model trim. I suggest you go and shop around ! " Then I left, drove 20 minutes to Subaru Calgary, stepped in the showroom, I said, I would like to see the sale manager. Then I did, Ken Woo who is the sale manager, came out asked me what I wanted. right away, Travis showed up beside him, took care of me, Ken even offered me to park my vehicle in their yard, test 2.5 and 3.6, both of them for one day or two days, Wow!!! see the difference? !! no obligation to buy, no pressure !! They say " if you come to us and say you would buy a car, we trust you! Simple as it is." Test drove both models, more than twice, YES! MORE THAN TWICE on different days. It's very hard to find the color I like the most - Dark Grey, 2 weeks later, Travis let me know the different dark color just arrived if I would consider, again, I showed up without notice on the Friday afternoon, about half hour before they close. I wanted to see the color you talked about !! Man!! they are great people, took extra time walked me through everything after their last client left. Hi, YES !! YES!! this is one I like as well! Price is what I offered to Mike at Centaur, But I was asked to leave and shop around from Centaur Subaru, the sales Mike walked away his table and asked me to shop around, Hi, Thanks Mike at Centaur for your advice! Subaru Calgary gave the price I asked for at Centaur , Subaru Calgary gave me enough time and two vehicles to test drive then I made easy decisions..... Paper works done! Cash purchase On Sept 27, 2017. My brand new 2018 Outback 3.6R limited with Teck Package on the dash has total 11 km when I got the keys!! More

First and foremost what I want to mention is the salesperson I dealt with: Dylan DeJong. He's honest, upfront, transparent, and isn't interested in pressuring a sale. He is more interested in actually helping you find what you need or want. He's laid back and, for myself anyway, it was more like sitting down to talk with a friend. If I were to be getting another vehicle sometime soon, I'd probably go to him first, and have already recommended him to a few other people. Secondly, the other main person I dealt with was Ryan Romano, in finance. He went out of his way to make the whole thing affordable for myself and did so in an extremely timely manner. The staff and general atmosphere at this dealership was friendly and pleasant. I visited a few other dealerships before deciding on a Subaru, and in some of them none of the staff even said hello or offered to help. One salesperson at a different dealership was far more interested in their own personal comfort and such rather than proving anything about the vehicle. By comparison, Dylan and the rest of the people at Subaru Calgary were ready to answer any questions I had and offer any help they could. Long story short, I have ended up with a vehicle that suits my needs and surpasses them, and I give a world of credit to the team that helped me get it. I would go back to Subaru Calgary in a heartbeat. More
