Dealing with Nisar was a pleasant experience, he was generally on schedule and available at the times we agreed upon in advance. He was helpful in coordinating vehicle delivery for a third party inspection, which was appreciated. The problems arose after the terms of the deal had been agreed and it came to closing. I had scheduled an appointment for the evening following the sale to simply drop off a bank draft for the balance of the purchase price, provide proof of insurance/registration/etc., and leave with the vehicle. The appointment was made at ~8 PM as the finance representative had another appointment at 7:30 PM. Nisar informed me that he would be away that evening, which was fine as I made arrangements with the finance team to handle closing. I arrived ~15 minutes prior to my appointment and waited for my meeting. ~20 minutes later I spoke with Jahanzeb Saleem, who was finishing up his work for the day, and he said that the person I was to meet with had left for the day and that there was only 1 person that could handle the closing. This person was currently meeting with another client and I would have to wait. Jahanzeb was very friendly and let me sit at his desk while I waited and would periodically check in on the availability of the person I needed to meet with. This was appreciated and did not go unnoticed. I waited over an hour to meet with this person (who I do not fault in anyway as I did not have an appointment with this person), and it took less than 10 minutes to complete the final paperwork, close the transaction, and prepare the vehicle for final walk through. The unnecessary delay was an unfortunate end to an otherwise pleasant customer experience. While I waited I did send an email to the individual I was scheduled to meet with and received a response the following morning stating that arrangements had been made with another person to cover my 8 PM appointment. I struggle to believe this, as there was only 1 other person (the person I met with ~1 hour after my scheduled time), and if this were the case, why would I have not been sent an email to inform me of who I ought to meet with in this person's absence? To each their own, but I would simply prefer someone be straight forward and admit a mistake had been made rather than provide a lame excuse that makes no sense. As a general comment for improvement aside from the above, I found the lack of attention to the small details surprising. Firstly, I have purchased several vehicles both from dealerships and private sellers, and this is the first time I picked up the vehicle without a full tank of gas. I brought this up when contacted on a follow up call and was told this is a "management decision" as it relates to used vehicles. Maybe that is the market offering today, but I was surprised with this policy and it seemed like a lazy answer. Secondly, I was annoyed to find that some of the individuals on the management team had their telephones saved as authorized devices in the vehicle's bluetooth function. It would have taken less than 30 seconds to simply clear all devices from the vehicle prior to my picking it up. I thought this would have been standard practice. While the sales members I dealt with were helpful and friendly and I ultimately ended up with the vehicle I wanted, based on my overall experience I would not be jumping up and down to push friends/family to this dealership in the future. More

Tariq and Ryan were incredibly helpful, simplified the process, and we were able to hone in on the best model, options and financing to suit OUR needs. Our older Subaru will be ‘on the block’ soon so we are already looking forward to doing this again worry free. I’ve been dealing with Calgary Subaru for close to 20 years now and it has always been a top notch experience (service as well). More

We never felt any pressure and felt confident in the deal we were offered and service. When we visited the dealership, Nisar was very friendly, helpful and efficient. He was busy but was attentive in greeting us and took us for the test drive on a busy Saturday. We were able to do a deal on a blue Ascent Premier SUV. My wife was happy as the other dealer could not get the blue color for us. The vehicle was delivered in 2 weeks. Nisar arranged a courtesy pick up for us on the delivery date. It was a nice touch. In addition he patiently explained the features of the vehicle for us before we drove off. I would highly recommend Nisar for your next car purchase. More
