Just a heads up to all used vehicle out of province buyers to be sure and check the legislation on purchasing previously owned out of province vehicles through your province. My province requires proof of previous ownership from any dealership in order to grant license and registration for any vehicle. Makes sense, right! Best service experience with auto dealer EVER! I live out of town and don't usually make it to a dealer for service. My 2012 Outback had transmission problems, I suspected the torque converter and I live out of town and don't usually make it to a dealer for service. My 2012 Outback had transmission problems, I suspected the torque converter and knew that this would an expensive fix, at least $2500. I called and spoke with Kevan and asked if there was any warranty left for this. He checked and confirmed that for this issue there was an extended warranty of 10 years or 160,000 km. My odometer showed 158,600. I checked the car in and was told that the work would take at least two weeks but that Subaru would lend me a 2018 Outback free of charge. The new torque converter was fitted with all the ancillary parts and labour at no cost to me. I have owned cars for over 50 years, have all kinds of repairs done by dealers of different auto makers and have never experienced such good service by such a competent service advisor.
