I went car shopping at Subaru Calgary before Xmas to look for a new vehicle. In fact I did not know if I wanted to buy back my Outback after three years of leasing or lease/buy a new vehicle. I booked an appointment with Tariq Bhatti, who made me feel comfortable from the start of the meeting. He was gracious, polite, calm and honest in his evaluation of each scenario. I have to say that this was my best car shopping/leasing experience ever. Tariq was very informative and he was answering each question very patiently. The general perception is that a car salesperson's only objective is to get money out of your pocket. Subaru Calgary (1100 Meridian Road NE) I've had nothing but issues with this dealership. I bought a brand new 2024 Crosstrek. I was told (by Paul Dimakis, the manager of the dealership) the tires o nothing but issues with this dealership. I bought a brand new 2024 Crosstrek. I was told (by Paul Dimakis, the manager of the dealership) the tires on my current Forester would fit the Touring model but they did not. They forgot to order the body side molding for the car which meant another trip to the dealership for installation. The service technician tried to tell me they don't have wireless Android Auto in the car when it's literally stated on the website as a feature. I brought my Crosstrek in to install WINTER tires on it, instead they installed ALL SEASON (with no tread left) in a completely wrong size (215/45R17 when they manufacturer recommended is 225/60R17) - they looked like spare tires on the Crosstrek. Service department did not answer, so after 3 attempts, I left an urgent message for them to call me back. I didn't get a call back that day or the following day. It took yet another trip into Calgary (4 in total now) to get the proper tires put on the car - and they still had to keep the car overnight so another wasted day. Poor service all around. If you're in the market for a Subaru, go anywhere but here. On a side note, I do love the Crosstrek so there's a silver lining. More

Traded in my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek and purchased a 2023 Subaru WRX from Vu Hoang. From the time I spoke to him to the day of delivery, he updated me throughout the process via text and videos.
