So far so good The only problem I had was trying to get in touch with certain departments by phone. Impossible. I was told by my sales person to contact the Finance dept. but that was not an option on the recorded phone message. I've only had the car for 3 weeks so not ready to review that aspect of my experience. Jim. More
Very disappointing experience Went in looking for a used vehicle. A sales man came over and was very helpful until he found out my financial situation. I was basically told I wouldn’t be able to get financing and I might as well keep dumping money into my old vehicle and drive it until it dies. He then just walked away as if I just wasted his time. Very rude and left me feeling like a total failure. I then went to a dealership and purchased a newer Kia. I will never be back or recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed. I am not sure of the name of the employee I dealt with and since it won’t let me post without finger pointing, I selected all. More

Josh was very understanding and when we returned to look at a Dodge Journey (that we purchased) Josh looked after us again in a pleasant and professional manner. We wanted the vehicle before they could have all the extras added that we purchased (tinting on the windows, bug deflector etc) and they detailed the car for us and got us to us. We made arrangements to take it in later to finish the work. We have purchased four vehicles from Strictland's and have have been very pleased with them all. We feel we got a very fair trade in for our Ford Escape. More
Questionable business practices I recently purchased a used car from Strickland's in Stratford that was advertised as a manual transmission with the following additional features. Ai I recently purchased a used car from Strickland's in Stratford that was advertised as a manual transmission with the following additional features. Air, Cruise,Tilt Steering, Stereo , CD, Power Locks and Power Windows. It test drove very nice and I decided to buy it. 5 days later, I return to Stratford to pick the car up. My plates were removed and the key was handed over. After the contract was signed and money exchanged, an employee took me out to my new car. I asked him to show me how to use the cruise control, at which time he informed me that there was no cruise control. We returned back to the office to look at the contract. The employee did not know what to do so I asked for the manager ( his name does not appear below in the choices). The manager came and informed me that there was nothing he could do because I had test drove it so I should have known what it had. I pointed out that the contract says it has cruise control and it was an administrative error. I then pointed out the internet ad stated the same thing and his response was don't trust the internet. Once we looked closer at the contract it also stated that it was an automatic transmission. I was purchasing a 6 speed manual transmission. I asked the manager if he would reduce the price to reflect the missing feature and he refused. My biggest issue is this contract would not protect me as it does not accurately state what vehicle I bought. This is questionable business practice. I would never use this dealership and would recommend anyone who does should have all paperwork reviewed by a lawyer or para legal. More

Great service and options in vehicles. After a car accident just before Christmas we went in after Boxing Day and tried out many of vehicles and found one with all the options we wanted and After a car accident just before Christmas we went in after Boxing Day and tried out many of vehicles and found one with all the options we wanted and then some. Great quality service and they even ensured the vehicles brakes and parts where operating before pick up and changed out parts that needed replaced. All around this dealership made our vehicle purchasing experience a favourable and successful one. More
