Crooked Dealership I went to purchase a used Jeep at Stony Plain Chrysler in September. I found one, and I was happy with it. However my deals at SPC were not ideal. Fir I went to purchase a used Jeep at Stony Plain Chrysler in September. I found one, and I was happy with it. However my deals at SPC were not ideal. First, they charged me $200 for nitrogen in my tires. They said it was not optional. However now that it's winter the air is colder, my tire pressure light comes on as it gets colder. Nitrogen does fluctuate with the temperature in the atmosphere, so when my tire pressure light comes on when the weather changes, it shows that they did not put nitrogen in my tired after they charged me $200 for it! Secondly, after I had gotten my keys and was prepared to make the 5 hour journey home, my boyfriend took a look under the hood and noticed that there was no coolant in the coolant reservoir. It was completely empty. He had noticed it was low the previous day and asked them to top it up. They didn't. My boyfriend then asked for some coolant to fill it himself, and noticed that it was pouring out of the bottom of the reservoir as quickly as he was pouring it in. It had a huge hole in the bottom! This leads me to believe that they were dishonest in their "inspection" as it was glaringly obvious that there was a huge hole in it, there was a massive puddle of coolant under the vehicle! We pointed this out to them and they replaced the reservoir. It's a good thing we checked because that would have potentially stranded me on the side of the road right after I drove it off the lot! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I did not feel valued as a customer, and I just feel like they were in it to make a dollar, and could care less about me. I understand completely, that it is a business and must make a profit to thrive. But I don't think blatant deception and negligence is any way to run a business, personally. More
Chrysler dealers are just sad period . Date of visit 06/2014 I had to give up on Grove Dodge . Given SPC was even closer for me , I decided to bring it there for service . My AC failed under warranty , never I had to give up on Grove Dodge . Given SPC was even closer for me , I decided to bring it there for service . My AC failed under warranty , never fixed by Grove Dodge . One trip to SPC and they find the leak very easily . It's a $650 bill for me to now get fixed . Since the truck is only 700kms off warranty , I asked for this "good will " service . It's been 3 weeks now and I have yet to hear from anyone . I went to a city Dealer and he was quite helpful . He called SPC and I still have not heard a thing . Pretty surprising considering all the smack they talk about Grove Dodge . "Oh , we will do better than Grove" "We hear this a lot about Grove" . Well , all I can say now is "here's what people say about you too !!" You are no better by trying to back stab another dealer when you won't do anything different than them . All I got from you was a diagnostic charge . I dealt with Tyler . After the diagnostics were done , I asked for the good will . I went back a week later and Tyler responded "I didn't know you wanted me to look into that for you" DUH , no buddy , I'd rater just pay out the repair bill ! Bit my tongue and asked if he could , he said he would . Call again a week later and nobody knows anything , Tyler went on 2 weeks holidays and was told I have to sweat 2 more weeks before he gets back . Nice eh ? It's been 20*+ and this weekend it calls for 30+ . Bottom line , NOBODY CARES !!!!! I'm tired of waiting , tired of dealing with bozo's , so , I fixed the issue myself . All it took was tighten a small valve in the line where it leaked and refill with refrigerant . Frankly , I think it was sabotaged but can't prove it . Works good now , thanks to me , an uncertified backyard mechanic . 700 kms out of warranty and everyone associated with Chrysler won't touch an issue I had under warranty that was not fixed . Chrysler has proved to me , they only look after themselves and leave customers out on a limb because of poor workmanship in their vehicles and at the dealers . I hope the remainder of my powertrain warranty is never used . Next issue , I take the loss and buy a Chev/GMC . When I had an out of warranty engine issue by 3000kms , they covered it 100% no problem . That is good service . I was a fool to go Chrysler but it will never happen again . It's like having teeth pulled w/o freezing . Nobody deserves such crappy service !! More
Horrible They were great until they got my money. After that it was 8 weeks to receive my vehicle, at time of purchase they told me 5 days. Then another month They were great until they got my money. Karen Dixon in particular was very rude on the phone and hard to deal with. Overall worst experience purchasing anything in my life. More
This Dealership is GREAT to deal with!! Matt "The Car Ninja" Roth was AWESOME!!! His Product knowledge was BANG ON and made it VERY nice to deal with him.
