He understood what I wanted in a car, answered all my questions, and was patient with me while I made some big decisions. Once I had decided on what car, Melinda was also very helpful in getting me onto the road quickly. She worked with my insurance company efficiently and made the final process incredibly easy. Both Robin and Melinda worked together with me in making what seemed like a daunting task be incredibly easy and straightforward. Since it was my first time buying a new car, the dealership also worked with me to trade in my student car and were not "pushy" at all. I was extremely fortunate when I met Stev I wanted to comment on my wonderful experience at Collins Nissan with the Dynamic Duo, Steve and Derek. I was extremely fortunate when I met Steve just a little over two years ago. At that time, he was working at Unique Chrysler in the Burlington area. He was kind, knowledgeable and extremely professional. He certainly went above and beyond to assist me with purchasing a vehicle. I purchased a used vehicle from him and honestly, it was probably the best running automobile I have ever had. Two years had gone by and the mileage was getting a little high so of course, I called Steve. I was so disappointed to learn that Steve was no longer with Unique Chrysler but thankfully he had transferred to another Carnation dealership. I live in the Oakville area and did not hesitate to drive to St. Catharines to meet with him because I knew the service would be exceptional. As always, he was friendly, generous with his time, extremely professional and honest. We found another vehicle that I wanted to purchase and I was given an extremely fair price for my vehicle being traded. Steve then put me in touch with Derek, the Senior Finance Manager at Collins Nissan. Derek started working on numbers immediately and within no time at all, he had my application approved at an astonishing low rate. Derek’s follow-up was exceptional. I never had to wonder what may or may not be happening because he kept me well informed of numbers, delivery date, etc. He, too, was kind, professional, extremely thorough and really went above and beyond. What a great team, thank you both! If you are looking for an automobile, whether it be new, used, pre-owned, etc....don’t waste your time going anywhere else. Purchasing my new Althima from Collin's Nissan St-Catharines With a lot of excitement I picked up my new Nissan Altima yesterday afternoon from Collin's Nissan in St-Catharines and I must say that it was the sam With a lot of excitement I picked up my new Nissan Altima yesterday afternoon from Collin's Nissan in St-Catharines and I must say that it was the same very pleasant experience as the day I bought the car.I came to visit Collin's Nissan for the first time late in the afternoon after having my old car serviced at the Chrysler dealership and seriously thinking of trading it in for a new Chrysler.But before doing the trade only for curiosity I decided to stop and have a look at the Nissan without any intention of buying a new car on that day.I was greeted by Steve who introduced me to Sorin Ailene a polite and friendly young salesman with a very pleasant personality who actually sold me on the same evening a new Altima sedan.I liked very much the look of the Altima but actually fell in love after test driving it.Sorin being a very patient man pointed out to me the features of the car including the powerful fuel efficiency 4-cylinder 2.5 engine which gives an unbelievable drive.I was so impressed with the Altima and the fair trade for my car that I decided to buy right on the spot. Then I was introduced to Melinda Ridgers a professional business manager with a bubbly personality who treated us very well.It was getting late in the day but she took the time to explain everything regarding the warranties and financing.I must say that everyone really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Went to Collins for an Oil change And ended up buying a 2014 Nissan 370Z Roadster........as I wandered through the showroom, Judy from service walked by and asked if I was thinking of And ended up buying a 2014 Nissan 370Z Roadster........as I wandered through the showroom, Judy from service walked by and asked if I was thinking of trading in my 2008 Nissan 350Z...I said I was considering it, but not very seriously at this point in time. Shortly after that my new best friend Fred Fucco appeared at my side asking about my car and saying how nice the 2014 model was...a new friendship was born, Fred was very easy to talk to and even easier to deal with. We arranged for me to come back a few days later to talk more about doing a deal. I arrived at the dealership on the arranged day and time and was met by Fred at the Door of the dealership. He made sure I was comfortable and asked if I wanted a coffee or drink or anything else, we bantered back and forth for an hour or so...he made many trips down the hall to his boss trying to get a deal done. During all of this I never felt pressured or pushed to make a deal...he seemed genuinely interested in getting me into that car at the best deal for me as well as looking after the dealership. We finally came to a number I was happy with... more than I had planned to spend, but in the end I was very happy with the end result. While I was waiting for the paperwork to be completed I think every salesperson in the place that day came by and congratulated me on my purchase...never has that ever occurred to me before. Amazing.
