My family and I have purchased new vehicles from Collins Nissan in the past and had very good service and experiences. When I needed a second hand vehicle I decided to give them a list of my needs , type of vehicle and price range. I asked them if they came across a vehicle to give me a call. It only took a few weeks before I had a call. The SUV I was shown ticked every box and some boxes I hadn't considered. The asking price was not out of reach and was very comparable to other vehicles of the same make and vintage. After fair negotiations a price was agreed to. I am thrilled to own a vehicle that looks and performs like a much newer car and is one that meets my needs. I will recommend this dealership and staff to friends and family. More

Left stranded A few weeks ago, my 2012 Nissan Versa would not start after a day of sitting in the parking lot of my office. I called Nissan's 24 hour Roadside Assis A few weeks ago, my 2012 Nissan Versa would not start after a day of sitting in the parking lot of my office. I called Nissan's 24 hour Roadside Assistance program, who were helpful enough, sending a tow truck to bring my car to the closest dealership for service. The helpfulness ended there. I was left in the parking lot after being told the service centre was closed, not Collins Nissan's fault, I know. It turned out the service centre was open, which I found out when I called Roadside Assistance back and was patched through to the dealership. At this point, Collins took over and I couldn't have been more disappointed with the solutions I was offered. I commute to work from Hamilton, so when my car broke down, I was left in a parking lot in a city that is 45 minutes from where I live. When I explained this to Collins Nissan, the only solution I was offered was an apology. They did not have a vehicle they could loan me nor would they assist me in renting a vehicle to get me home. I was able to find overnight accommodation with family in the city, which was not an ideal solution. For all Collins knew, I was left in a parking lot with nowhere to go and no way to get anywhere. The next day I was "reassured" that the malfunction was covered under warranty and that it would not cost me anything out of pocket to have repaired. Not the case, as my vehicle still wouldn't be repaired until the next day, leaving me stranded for another night away from home. Collins Nissan did not even attempt to help me find a solution to get me home. Again, I was offered an apology followed by "but it's just our policy." I also emailed the dealership, attn: general manager and service manager, and did not receive a response or even acknowledgement of my email. Based on Collins Nissan's "policy" of leaving customers stranded in parking lots, away from home, and not responding to concerns, I will not be bringing my vehicle back to be serviced. More

Purchasing my "New to me" Xterra I have been a loyal Toyota customer (owning 3 different vehicles) over the past 26 years. So when I needed to replace my vehicle, naturally I went there first (Toyota). I was very disappointed in the sales experience. I then saw the Xterra in auto trader at Collins Nissan. It was almost 3 hours away, but I was not disappointed. Best experience I ever had purchasing a vehicle. As a woman, I am used to sales people looking or talking to the male--or pointing out "lady" features, or talking colour. Once I even had a sales person ask me, "What do you need a truck for, you're a woman?" At Collins Nissan, the sales people did not pressure me, rather they were interested in making me happy. I feel they gave me a reasonable offer for my trade-in. Awesome experience! 5 stars! Now I am hoping the service department will be just as good, because I will go back there periodically! More
