I took my Jetta TDI in for the "TDI modification" which was part of the class action lawsuit against VW. I had no letters, emails or calls from VW instructing me on their specific procedure for this so after asking Kelsey in the service dept about it she informed me to book it in before Aug 2018 and they would handle the modification as well as fill out some paper work at the completion of the work and then i should get my compensation cheque in the mail. Well that cheque (5K im told) never came and it turns out its too late to claim because im told the deadline has past. I was a loyal customer to SPVW from day one and it is shocking to me how easily it is for Moe to deny any part in their mishandling of my claim , this is how a loyal customer is treated. They have quickly distanced themselves from me and Moe has gone as far as to instruct his staff not to even talk to me anymore, really Moe? I smell a rat. I have accepted that i will probably not be getting this money from VW and whatever little smoke and mirrors scam VW have with their dealerships seems to have worked for them in this case, so, congratulations VW you can keep your dirty money but one thing is certain, you will not get another dime of my money. I strongly advise anyone even thinking about this dealership for new, used or just service to run for the hills, Sherwood Park VW as well as the mother ship VW Canada are apparently all about recovering their lost money from the lawsuit and they evidently will be quite ruthless about it. I guess VW are dishonest from their Manufacturing right down to their dealerships. So the only reason for the 1 rating is because there is not a 0 option. Disgusted customer Andymac. More

Tried to sell us a rental car without disclosure This dealership tried to sell us a rental car without disclosure. We were in fact working out the agreement to purchase when I noticed the CarFax repo This dealership tried to sell us a rental car without disclosure. We were in fact working out the agreement to purchase when I noticed the CarFax report on the sales person's computer screen. It clearly indicated this was a rental car since new. I questioned the sales person about failure to disclose this information. The answer was "Oh is that important". Would you not think it was important to be told your new car was driven by hundreds if not thousands of different people, and probably abused by several of them? Years ago, it required a letter of disclosure to sell a police car, taxi, or rental vehicle. This dealer has lost my trust for life, we will never set foot on that property again. Bought a new Nissan at Northside Nissan. I thought GoAuto were the only thieves in town. More
