My family has purchased nothing but VW’s over the past 10 years. We will never deal with them again. Mike Brar had my daughter sign an agreement with more “protection plans” than the car was worth. She was given no paperwork. She asked the insurance dealer to see the agreement that is how we as parents saw what Mike Brar had sold her without her understanding. Yes, she is young and naive, but this is horrendous. The GM, Moe Fayad, assured us a phone call back but went home for the day rather than calling us. Worst experience I have ever had with VW. Sherwood Park VW is shady, dishonest and lacks professionalism. BEWARE...DO NOT EVEN WALK IN THE DOOR. More

Excellent, thoughtful and timely sales experience I had an excellent experience with Sherwood Park Volkswagen.   I had been shopping for a car for several months and this was the eighth dealership I v I had an excellent experience with Sherwood Park Volkswagen.   I had been shopping for a car for several months and this was the eighth dealership I visited. I went in late on a Saturday afternoon with a clear idea of what I wanted.  The salesperson was able to identify immediately a car that they had in stock which would fit my needs exactly.  He was correct and it even has a few luxuries that I wasn't expecting.  For the car that I wanted, and its extras, I paid what I think is an fair price and certainly an excellent value.  I was able to finance it in a way that met my budget and there was no pressure from the salesperson to upgrade or change either the vehicle or the financing.  I appreciated the straight-forwardedness of all staff involved in the sale: the manager, the salesperson, and the finance manager.  In fact the manager, rather than just coming to shake my hand and tell me what a great salesperson had been helping me, actually sat down and explained how the borrowing options would work.  I was impressed as this had not happened in the 7 previous dealerships I had visited. When I went to pick up the car a couple of days later, the sales person took time to show me the features which were of greatest importance to me, respecting the limited time I had to spend at this appointment.  I would not hesitate to recommend Sherwood Park Volkswagen as a place to purchase a car.  In fact, I expect my best friend will be purchasing a car from them in the near future based on my experience. Excellent service, the ability to listen to the customer's wishes, and take the time to really find the right fit made this a superior experience.  Not to mention the great product the car is, in and of itself.  A quiet and smooth ride, excellent gas mileage and (eventually) excellent resale value though I p,an to own it for many years.  More

Buy to exchange disappointment Norvin(sales) friendly, did what he could. bought a hybrid Jetta. Wanted to trade in my car, sales manager offered 1/3 it’s value. The hybrid system on the car acted up 5 days after pick up. they diagnosed ($6000 to repair). I wanted to pay for the days I had the car and cancel deal completely but was only givin the option to exchange for something of equal value. So in stead I got stuck buying a diesel for more money than I ever wanted to buy one for, which transmission doesn’t feel right either. DONT GET THE UNDERGAURD $500!!! I could do what they did with a $5 can. Which moe didn’t let me opt out on the ‘exchanged’ car, Nor the safe and secure. Conclusion; didn’t like I couldn’t cancel deal completely since I didn’t come to buy a diesel, couldn’t refuse undergaurd, safe and secure ‘add on’s’ on exchanged car. When final deal being made with finance, being lied to that moe was away (as wife saw finance speaking with him...) ...more to the story... Won’t be buying from this Volkswagen again. More

I took my Jetta TDI in for the "TDI modification" which was part of the class action lawsuit against VW. I had no letters, emails or calls from VW instructing me on their specific procedure for this so after asking Kelsey in the service dept about it she informed me to book it in before Aug 2018 and they would handle the modification as well as fill out some paper work at the completion of the work and then i should get my compensation cheque in the mail. Well that cheque (5K im told) never came and it turns out its too late to claim because im told the deadline has past. I was a loyal customer to SPVW from day one and it is shocking to me how easily it is for Moe to deny any part in their mishandling of my claim , this is how a loyal customer is treated. They have quickly distanced themselves from me and Moe has gone as far as to instruct his staff not to even talk to me anymore, really Moe? I smell a rat. I have accepted that i will probably not be getting this money from VW and whatever little smoke and mirrors scam VW have with their dealerships seems to have worked for them in this case, so, congratulations VW you can keep your dirty money but one thing is certain, you will not get another dime of my money. I strongly advise anyone even thinking about this dealership for new, used or just service to run for the hills, Sherwood Park VW as well as the mother ship VW Canada are apparently all about recovering their lost money from the lawsuit and they evidently will be quite ruthless about it. I guess VW are dishonest from their Manufacturing right down to their dealerships. So the only reason for the 1 rating is because there is not a 0 option. Disgusted customer Andymac. More
