My wife and I live outside of Sherwood Park. We had been shopping for a new vehicle, and on one of our trips in stopped at Sherwood Park VW and test drove a new Tiguan. After the test drive, we We had been shopping for a new vehicle, and on one of our trips in stopped at Sherwood Park VW and test drove a new Tiguan. After the test drive, we had discussions with the sales staff regarding trade in value, forced financing (dealership will not do cash deals), etc. Still undecided, we left. After several days, we decided to proceed with the purchase of a new VW Tiguan Highline, and phoned Sherwood Park VW. Over the phone we confirmed trade in value of our present vehicle and negotiated an all in price for the purchase of the Tiguan. As they did not have the color we wanted, we put down a deposit and were told it would be a four to six week wait. Unfortunately, to our future dismay, we did not ask for written confirmation of the terms of our deal, nor did we sign any offer sheet. All we had was a verbal agreement over the phone. After four weeks our Tiguan was in and we made an appointment to pick it up. Upon arrival to Sherwood Park VW, we inspected it and were satisfied with what we saw. Our salesman explained a few of the functions, and we were handed the keys. Then it was off to do the paperwork. To our surprise, the price on the sales agreement was substantially higher than what we had agreed upon. This was pointed out to the sales staff......and then the fun began! Long story short, Sherwood Park VW sales claimed they had no paperwork for the deal we had previously negotiated and refused to honor it. They would not budge on the price they demanded. After several fruitless hours of back and forth, including talking to whom we assumed was the GM, we handed back the keys to the Tiguan, got our deposit back, and left in the vehicle we arrived in. No attempt was made to stop us and find a compromise solution. So that's our sorry tale of trying to purchase a new VW. Shame on you Sherwood Park VW for wasting our time and trying to pull a fast one on us! Zero out of five stars for you! We won't be back. More

Their staff worked with me to overcome the challenges of purchasing from such a distance by offering hotel accommodations and delivery of vehicle (which did not end up being necessary) and emailing required paperwork. There was a small internal miscommunication that made us think my vehicle would not be ready when I had already travelled to come pick it up, but the staff did everything they could to rectify the issue. The sales rep, Fady, even detailed the car himself to ensure it was ready on time. Great service! More

Recently traded in my Pristine Silverado there for a Golf R, the sales guy I dealt with promised me numerous things that would be done to car regarding maintenance. Also I was asked to supply a $500 deposit R, the sales guy I dealt with promised me numerous things that would be done to car regarding maintenance. Also I was asked to supply a $500 deposit which I was promised to get back once I got to the dealer. Needless to say they didn’t wanna give me my deposit back when I got there they said it will be mailed to me, i said absolutely not I was promised that I would revive it when I arrive. That’s just one problem, so when dealer brings in pre owned vehicles all they do is change engine oil and filters, THATS IT. Once I got the car home notice some noise coming from front right corner, and lost my A/C. Thats 3 problems, so me being a tech for last 10 yrs put car in the air and had a look for myself, EVERY exhaust clamp was loose and all hose clamps. Very visible at that when u can see where the exhaust leaks are coming from. Not only that I was told I would have the DSG tranny service done and rear Haldex serviced, neither of that got done either. So after arguing with sales manger back n forth he said he would honour the services since the sales guy told me it would be done, I DENIED it and said I’ll never have ur techs work on my car again. So I brought the car elsewhere to get everything done by PROFESSIONAL German technicians. They also have heard of bad things from this dealer. So with that being said don’t purchase any car from these ppl. All they want is ur money and quick sale. More
On May 6 2022 I bought a VW Tiguan 2016. I wanted to buy cash and was refused, from Peter the gentleman sales person I was handed over to Asma the money squeezer. I was alone in a hurry didn I wanted to buy cash and was refused, from Peter the gentleman sales person I was handed over to Asma the money squeezer. I was alone in a hurry didn't pay attention when the price $ 20,311 grew to over $ 25000, when my son saw it he got mad at me and I went back to try to reduce the price which I paid in cash $ 5000 + $ 15,069 bank draft and remain 12 biweekly payments of 185.34 which will total $ 22,293. What I found out during the three Month I have the car, it is a fuel guzzler. 2.0 Tsi urban use consumed 62 Liters per 450 Km far far of what VW claim it consumes, My VW Tiguan makes only 7.26 Km per liter. Very poor gas performance. In conclusion I won't recommend Sherwood Park VW to any of my relatives or friends. Without prejudice. Dror P.S. Asma took photo copy of my credit card to her say "in case I'll get a ticket in the loaner I got" I wonder if it's legal? they had my driver license photo copy. More
