Nothing but good things to say about Peter and Ted at Sherwood Park Volkswagen. Bought my golf 2 days ago and it was nothing but a smooth, helpful experience. Every part of the process was explained from Sherwood Park Volkswagen. Bought my golf 2 days ago and it was nothing but a smooth, helpful experience. Every part of the process was explained from the moment I walked in the door, to driving my new car off of the lot. This was my first time buying my first car from a dealership and it was nothing but a comfortable process to a point where I felt confident I was making the right choice. Would 100% refer this place to anyone, especially if it’s your first time buying. No judgement or overwhelming pressure to buy a car and get out. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience buying my first car, thanks again to Peter and Ted who helped me through the whole way. More

Sherwood Park VW HORRIBLE experience and HORRIBLE customer service. My advice? Go elsewhere....no, RUN elsewhere! Drive very fast elsewhere - the cops will understand once you mention this place!! customer service. My advice? Go elsewhere....no, RUN elsewhere! Drive very fast elsewhere - the cops will understand once you mention this place!! If this dealership hadn't had the exact used car we were looking for, we would not have continued with them. The young and completely inexperienced and untrained salesboy was just weird and awkward but I was happy to cut him a break since....youth.... But everyone else in the place is a "piece of work". They seem to have developed a culture of nastiness, bitterness, straight out lying and over-the-top ways to take advantage of everyone who walks into their so-called place of business. No you cannot pay cash unless you demand it over and over, laugh derisively (learned that from them) and demand to see the manager. To their credit (or not), they did admit that they make their money off the interest on a payment plan....nice, huh? And negotiating? Wowsers. Just nasty stuff. Why can't they just be decent? No, no - they must over explain, in a smarmy manner, how stupid you are and how you know nothing. Doesn't spell customer service to me.... A test drive you ask? Sure....but first, you must answer many questions about other cars you might be interested in some day....and then, once you get in the car, you are told exactly where to drive. God forbid you should actually take the car on rougher roads or try to make a sharp turn or take it somewhere/anywhere that they don't deem is okay to go. The manager was beyond horrible and had not one single decent thing to say to us. She was, for lack of a better word, angry....from the moment we met her. Why? And finally, the financing department - oh joy, oh fun. NOT! Have I used the word "smarmy" already? YIKES. "So, you want to spend like a thousand dollars on a fob when you lose it, really?" Yes, lovely lady....NOT! I looked at my husband and for the hundredth time, my jaw dropped and I laughed out loud. It's just not worth stooping to their angry level. Laughing and levity - that's the way to go at a place like this. While they did fill the car with gas and wash it, detail it and attach the license plate for us (well with one and a half screws anyway), these are not the details that matter. Not at all. DO NOT GO HERE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. WE WILL NEVER RETURN. More

I purchased a Used VW Tiguan, and I must say it has been hands down the worst transaction I've ever had. Fady, the Sales Manager, was unbelievably pushy during my first visit, almost making me lose my temper. His condescending remark, "I don't think you know what you want," was not only disrespectful but also completely unprofessional. To add to the frustration, he resorted to threats, claiming the vehicle might be sold to someone else if I didn't commit on the spot. His desperation to close the deal was beyond appalling. Ted Bryan, their Finance Manager, started off friendly and helpful until I rejected the additional offerings like extended warranties. The instant I declined, his attitude did a complete 180. He swiftly got me to sign the loan agreement and turned cold and unhelpful thereafter. The drastic change in demeanour was astounding. Brent, the sales consultant, though new, tried to be helpful but made promises he couldn't keep. Issues with the vehicle were apparent during the test drive – engine light on, alignment off. Promised rectifications weren't completed on time, forcing me to return for a second visit. This was a significant inconvenience due to the distance I had to travel. In summary, right vehicle, wrong dealership. I will never engage with or recommend Sherwood Park Volkswagen to anyone. It's truly a shame. More

Was told my car was ready to be picked up when in fact he never even checked when I had called to ask. Returned a few days later to get the car which wasn’t detailed Peter said he’d contact me to book and appointment and never did. Peter broke off the licence plate screw in the car and did not have the decency to even tell me my plate was only being held on by one screw. Finance fee for buying a car cash??! More
