Brought my 2014 mazda 6 to this dealership for an oil change and tire swap on March 22 2023 (thursday). After a $700 bill for services rendered including some suspension parts being replaced, I took my c change and tire swap on March 22 2023 (thursday). After a $700 bill for services rendered including some suspension parts being replaced, I took my car home in the evening. During the weekend I noticed noticeable gashes in the rear bumper. I reached out on the Monday (27) asking for the photos they took of the bumper when I dropped it off. I heard nothing from the dealership for a few days. I reached out again on Thursday (30) asking for the pictures. I got a lame answer as to the lack of a response. After much back and forth and the run around I finally received the pictures. In return I sent them the picture of the damaged bumper. It was clear it was from some heavy equipment being backed into the bumper. The manager reviewed my claim and rejected any real responsibility, offering me a "deal" to get it fixed. They claimed I didn't reach out immediately, ignoring the fact I picked up the car in the evening on the 22nd and the reality they are closed on Sunday. When I tried to provide my feedback to the service person about the decision I was cut off as it was clear he was just trying to get off the phone and wrap up his day. I've been going to this dealership for 10 yrs and spent thousands of dollars on servicing my car here. Its clean and professional (at least I thought so). At the end of the day Scarborough Mazda is no different than any other budget dealership, it's just clean but that is the only difference. They will screw you with a smile on their face.
