Pre-owned vehicle had a major problem; you made it right. We purchased a preowned Toyota and a comprehensive warranty in July 2015; we discovered a heating/cooling problem in October, which was related to a We purchased a preowned Toyota and a comprehensive warranty in July 2015; we discovered a heating/cooling problem in October, which was related to a major electrical issue. Dave Dodds at Richmond Hill Hyundai facilitated complete repair at no extra charge. The vehicle was under repair over a two week period (which seemed quite long) however a courtesy car had been provided. Over that two week period, we did have some minor difficulties obtaining information about the status of the car; but in the end, the repair was completed and we are satisfied. It is somewhat disappointing that a vehicle with a history of heating and cooling issues (noted on service history) would be sold to us in good faith. More
Happy Customer I purchased my 2011 Sonata here new but had it serviced in Brantford since I live there. I have a great deal of problems with the automatic heating/ac I purchased my 2011 Sonata here new but had it serviced in Brantford since I live there. I have a great deal of problems with the automatic heating/ac system and the Brantford dealer could not fix it. As a matter of fact they said there was no problem. I phone Richmond Hill VP who was acting Service Manager (forget his name). He sent a driver and car to Brantford, picked up my Sonata and returned it to the dealer and left a loaner car. Our Sonata was returned 2 weeks later with the heater/cooling system finally fixed and my Sonata had a full tank of gas. To say that I was pleased with the service is certainly understated. More
BEWARE. Used car had undisclosed damage I almost bought a used Santa fe from this dealership in April. The sales rep agreed to show me the the servicing records before finalizing the deal. H I almost bought a used Santa fe from this dealership in April. The sales rep agreed to show me the the servicing records before finalizing the deal. However, she started making a number of excuses that they were unavailable. When they were provided I noticed they did not line up to the carproof report. I then figured out they were provided for the wrong vehicle. When the servicing records were provided for the right vehicle I noticed there were a few missing. When they did provide those missing records they showed the car had been damaged! I can't determine if they were highly incompetent or dishonest but either one is not what you would want in a dealership. The damage on the car had not been disclosed on the ad and I confirmed with the sales rep that the car had never been in an accident. The worst part of it was that they didn't understand why this was an issue. The used car manager called me and basically told me in a very rude way that I was being unreasonable for not wanting to close the deal after they had revealed this. I noticed that even a week afterwards the listing for the car still had not been updated to disclose the car was damaged. I would be very careful in dealing with this dealership!! More
