Well when I picked it up my Tucson, they told me they had "changed" the coupler (in the awd system). I was surprised, since the car is just over 1 years old and has around 15k. Anyways i took the car home and when I got home i heard the same sound coming from the muffler area. I called and I spoke to Scott, who doesnt seem to care about his customers, he is supposed to "manage" the service area, but i dont think he does. So when I told him the problem still there, he said "ok, we'll change the muffler then..". Really?, shouldnt they have found the problem the first time?, thats why I said service under management from Scott is incompetent, they either dont know what they are doing or they dont care. I had to waste my time going back for a problem that should have been fixed the first time. DO NOT BRIN G YOUR CAR TO RICHMOND HILL HYUNDAI for service, they dont care about their customers, and they are unprofessional. More
Worst dealer. Liers. They sell you a car and once they get the money they don't know you. I purchased a used 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe and the deal included a remote starter. That was in December 2019. I was get the money they don't know you. I purchased a used 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe and the deal included a remote starter. That was in December 2019. I was told it'll be installed 1st week of January after the holidays. Till today 11th March 2020 and I keep on getting lie after lie from them that the remote starter: 1- must be produced by VIN number, 2- Hyundai Korea didn't send it yet, 3- Because of Corona virus in China my remote starter isn't produced yet. The fourth lie is still to come. Will keep on updating the Customers so hopefully they don't fall into their trap. More

I contacted the dealership with an offer with a trade. Zach essentially accepted my offer. I drove down and met with Dilan and Eugene . I immediately realized we were far apart. I left and came home. My wife and I liked the vehicle so a couple days later I called to see if there was a compromise. Dilan said to come down and we can try to get more money for your trade, I felt he tried his best and we bought the vehicle. More
As a custmomer of Richmondhill Hyundai for approximately 4 years, I would like to share my experience in brief. Warning: 1) Try to avoid this dealership. Do not even approach them. 2) For any reaso 4 years, I would like to share my experience in brief. Warning: 1) Try to avoid this dealership. Do not even approach them. 2) For any reason, If you decided to go inside, for purchase, try to avoid: DILAN GRAHAM. (Sales Manager) He will promise you some offers and discounts such as FREE OIL CHANGE or other things to persuade you to buy a car. But after signing the papers, he will probably let you down easily. After a month, he might just say: " I do not remember anything." 3) So: if you were not lucky and had to talk to DILAN GRAHAM and he offered you a bonus or gift " such as 1 year oil change or rust protection or anything else", Never trust his words. Ask him to write IMMEDIATELY his offers clearly and sign it. Ask him to show you what exactly he wrote in your file. Make sure he has written and signed what exactly he promised. 4) If you have to go to Service Department, Do not go to the advisor: "Moazzam Hussain" He is a PRO in finding useless services to charge you extra. If you could give a negative rating we would. We had the brakes serviced in March 2019. We then took the car to the Barrie dealership for an oil change and to address a recall. When the car was being servic brakes serviced in March 2019. We then took the car to the Barrie dealership for an oil change and to address a recall. When the car was being serviced they informed us that we needed to repair the brakes. We told them that the car had the brakes repaired 6 months ago. They said that was impossible because there was no evidence to prove that. We took pictures and sent them to the service manager at the Richmond hill dealership He told us not to trust the Barrie dealership. He promised to look into the matter and call us back. He hasn’t. We contacted the general manager and left a detailed message asking him to call us. It is now December and still no one has contacted us. Consumers be careful taking your car to this dealership for service. We recommend you photograph everything before any work begins. In our opinion this is not a trustworthy dealership. More
Recommended if you want a long, bad, ridiculous time My parents bought a used 2019 Toyota Corolla LE on my behalf at the end of Aug 2019 from this dealership. The actual sale facilitated by Greg Sipprell My parents bought a used 2019 Toyota Corolla LE on my behalf at the end of Aug 2019 from this dealership. The actual sale facilitated by Greg Sipprell was pretty straightforward and seamless, and we drove the car off the lot a week later. (Although Greg refused to fill the gas tank up to the max when he gave me the car, so that's the first reason I don't recommend him.) No problems with the car itself two months later. However after I took ownership of the car, I realized that there had been a discrepancy in the paperwork. The sale agreement stated that the maximum distance driven on the car was ~16000km, while the odometer reading on the safety certificate (dated two days after the bill of sale was drafted and the car had been purchased) was ~18100km. After taking the car and "closing" the sale, there were also a few other items that I had yet to receive, such as carpet mats and the paint pen (actually signed on in the sale agreement) as well as the full vehicle manual (not included by default for some reason but promised verbally by Greg). Throughout all of September we attempted to contact Greg several times about these items as well as the discrepancy in distance driven. Greg responded with one one-liner email and more verbal promises to follow up, until he stopped responding to any communications at all and basically ghosted us. By the first week of October (4-5 weeks after the car had been driven off the lot), we escalated with a call to Dilan Graham, the sales manager. Dilan also promised to immediately follow up and personally mail the items, but just like Greg, he ghosted us too and all calls would be sent to voicemail. Finally approaching late October, I escalated once more to Kiron Singh, the general manager. Kiron did respond in a timely manner (perhaps because I mentioned reaching out to OMVIC and Toyota Canada next) however he revealed that he had just ordered the carpet mats, the manual, and the paint pen (8 WEEKS after the car had been driven off the lot), and that the discrepancy in the paperwork was due to an error in the bill of sale -- a legally binding document -- which "should have been updated at time of purchase", and therefore the correct distance is the higher one on the safety certificate. I am still speaking with Kiron about this and will update my review depending on what happens next. Right now however, I strongly suggest prospective buyers to stay away and find a better dealership to deal with, unless they want to add more stress and complications to their car purchasing experience.' **UPDATE 11/05/19**: My suggestion to stay away remains the same. Since posting my review, I requested compensation for the error and the lack of communication in the form of a $300 gas gift card. The $300 was determined via the difference in average sale price between a 2019 Toyota Corolla LE driven 16000km and driven 18000km (based off of online research). The gift card was requested as I wanted to avoid the possibility of any further lengthy exchanges with the dealership (since the previous communication patterns made me believe they wanted to cease interactions ASAP). Instead, Kiron's counter-offer was 4 oil changes. I asked again for the gift card and re-explained my reasoning, as well as the fact that I don't even live anywhere near Richmond Hill so the oil changes are worth even less to me. Kiron responded that apparently Richmond Hill Hyundai's policy is to charge $0.05/km, therefore 2000km = $100, and the only option for compensation was via oil changes. Wanting to be done with this, I said I would accept the oil changes if they could be done at any dealership within Phaeton Auto Group (the group that this dealership falls under). However Kiron said that the oil changes could only be redeemed at Richmond Hill Hyundai, AND ONLY AFTER A FULL AND FINAL RELEASE FORM IS SIGNED. Upon asking for the terms of the release, I was simply told it was "to ensure that there will be no further action taken towards Richmond Hill Hyundai (no further compensation)," and that "this also includes actions such as social media/google." So, again: only buy from this dealership if you want to be thrown into a ridiculous situation that makes you laugh with how awful their service is. Otherwise, AVOID PHAETON AUTO GROUP COMPLETELY including their other dealerships: - Richmond Hill Toyota - Thornhill Hyundai - Toyota Town (in London) - Lexus of London (If this review eventually disappears, assume that either the compensation to sign the release form was too good, or that they're censoring bad reviews.)
