He was very professional in his dealings with us and he was not pushy or in a hurry to get the deal done. He appeared to be very knowledgeable about the product and was willing and able to answer any and all questions/concerns we had. Upon delivery of the vehicle, he thoroughly went over the new vehicle with us, again taking the time to ensure we were comfortable with everything the vehicle offered, he even took time to set up the Bluetooth which can be quite a challenge for my generation. Complete LACK of customer service I would not recommend this dealership. Once they make the sale, they are DONE with you. They do not reply to questions regarding your new vehicle. Cheated To: Nissan Canada Customer Service, I have just purchased a new 2014 Nissan Murano on June 30,2014. Now I purchased a 2009 Altima 6 years ago To: Nissan Canada Customer Service, I have just purchased a new 2014 Nissan Murano on June 30,2014. Now I purchased a 2009 Altima 6 years ago and a 2007 used Altima 4 years ago we enjoyed them a lot. But what I was put through to purchase this Murano was in no way fair to any customer. Both my wife and I, who also loves the drive of our Nissan products, believe that will be the last Nissan we will purchase. I am a man who is very ill. I was infected with Hep C when I was 16 from a pint of blood that I received for bleeding to much when I had my tonsils removed. 11 years ago I received a liver transplant and to this day I am still very ill. The people at Moncton Nissan have this knowledge and they still did a very low, humiliating and insulting stunt that in no way left me in a very good mood. This is my story. Last March I decided, (After a devastating winter) to purchase an AWD. I tried every SUV that attracted me and went to different cities and towns to look at them. On June 23/14, I decided on the Murano and contacted all the dealers in the Maritimes. I told them what I was doing and the one with the best deal I will take. No one knew anyone's price that was given to me. Fredericton Nissan, ( Mr Geoff Daugharty) came in with a good price but was 3rd. Now I visited Geoff at the dealership and at that time I was interested in the Rouge. He approached me with a very amicable attitude and I at once felt relaxed. He appeared to me, after conversing for awhile, to be very relaxed and laid back, very intelligent and very mature for his young years. He proved this the way he approached the loss of the sale. I wish he would have had the lowest price but I cannot play favourites. I gave my word to the lowest price. The 2nd place price was the exact price that I said to myself I would purchase It for if I could. That was from a Sales Manager that a man named Ian quickly got in contact with from their web. Talking to him (SM) seemed like talking to Geoff. I explained to him what I was doing and he quoted the price, ( OTR ) His name was Brian Ames, ( O'Regan's Infiniti Nissan, Halifax, N. S. ) Now I want to add a last comment before I describe my insult. Brian gave me what I wanted and he stuck to his word through the whole process. They worked hard to get me that red Murano and sent a product specialist to explain the vehicle to us. But it did take 4 days to close this deal and I receive a USED Murano. The lowest price, in which was almost $2,000.00 less than Brian's. It was given to me from a salesman named James MacNiel, Moncton Nissan RALLYE MOTORS NISSAN !!! My first heads up about this company was two weeks before they took ownership of Moncton Nissan. I had my car in for an oil change. Well I had a wheel bearing that was starting to make a bit of noise so I asked Dave,( one of the four original staff members that remained after the changeover. ) to give me an estimate for the repair. In the estimate the price for the wheel bearing was $88.00 dollars. A month after RALLYE TOOK OVER THAT WHEEL BEARING BECAME $330.00, and I have the paperwork to prove this claim. We'll lets us go back to this fabricated price. Twenty minutes after James called I was in his office. I questioned the price and made sure that was on the road price( all expenses paid to put the SUV in my name and not a cent more. All fees and any charges included. ) James said that he knew how I felt because he asked the Business Manager if that was the correct price TWICE. I saw that price on the agreement in large numbers with a large circle. I watched James take that sheet to the BM three times. I watched as the BM pointed his pencil on the sheet. The second time James came back and told me that if I financed for thirty days instead of paying cash he would deduct $400.00 plus tax. I do not like loans of any kind so I refused. The BM then offered 700 plus tax so I agreed. He claimed that by financing he would get a better Bonus from the bank at the end of the year. I should have caught on then. When James took the sheet over to the BM I followed. I watched as the BM took his calculator added $700.00+ 13% tax. He then subtracted the total from the circled price. James then looked at me and said " Sean, you are going to pay $33,051 and some cents, ON THE ROAD for the Murano. " I then looked at the BM who was sitting in his chair looking at me, a smile on his face and nodding in a yes action. If this was a mistake that the BM blamed on James, do you not think after being questioned about the price twice and holding that price four times in his hands in my eyesight as paying attention to the business at hand. I'm a sick man but I knew around what price that Murano cost and he could not see that. Does he not know his own business? If this was not a ploy then I question this man's competence? Now I would like to make a comment about James MacNeil ( RALLYE salesman). When this man gave me this price you could tell that he was glad that I got such a good deal. He was always at my beck and call. He kept me up to date with what was going on and supported me through the whole process. When he found out what had happened he was visually upset. He went in and argued with the BM THREE TIMES on my behalf. Of all the salesmen who ever sold me a car none treated me as well as this gentleman throughout the whole process. The biggest let down in all this is this man was cheated of his commission in which he really deserved. Back to the story at hand. So I made the deal for his price on the road( $33051.xx) and then the nightmare started. First, the colour I wanted was in the Miramichi . One and one half hour away. Could you explain to me why it took three days for that SUV to get to Moncton. Well I'll tell you. Jeff, the guy who gets these vehicles and was the sales manager at the time I purchased the first Altima, well he showed the text where the guy held back the Murano and wouldn't let it go because they( RALLYE ) would not let go of a car he sold. The BM blamed me for the incident because I got a quote from them. Your car pool program seems to be costing your customer a great deal of aggravation because of this immature infighting. Also a point. When I bought my Altima, after I made the deal, my wife wanted another option thrown in. I stated this to Jeff and he stated" Sean, when a man makes a deal he sticks to it and I agreed with him and backed off. I must also mention that Jeff did throw in the option. But the fact remains, they (RALLYE ) seems to run a double standard. I have no patience with double standards and it only raises my anger. Many times in my life I have given my word and kept it even at my own loss, for I believe a man is only as good as his word and those who do not claim responsibility for their word and run around blaming others, appear to me as cowards. Four days after I accepted this deal it was time to sign the papers. I might add, I have never waited this long for a transaction to close in all the cars I ever bought in my life. At the most I only waited for two days for one( The 2009 Altima ) the rest was done the day I made the deal. I did not have to wait 8 days. My wife took an unpaid hour from work at her request because she is a woman of character and does not believe in abusing the system. We arrived and the lady who had the papers passed me them to sign. I passed them back and firmly said. "I will not sign these papers this is not the price I agreed to. Can you explain to me how after everything I have been put through that BM raised the price to 37,800 and some dollars. When I confronted him he said he didn't give me that price and James screwed it up. He also stated he could not sell me at that price. He showed me exactly what he was, of which was stated early. Did he think I would be to humiliated not to sign those papers or what! No, I do not believe for one moment that this was a mistake. Funny how when you have an upsetting moment how many people seem to come out of the woodwork with a similar experience. Well this is what is happening and these guys do not play fair. How would you like this experience to happen to you? I do not think you would like such a happening. Well I wish this was the end to my nightmare but it isn't. I dropped the key to the Murano on the BM's desk and told him I do not do business like this and angrily walked out. Now it is bad enough to insult someone's intelligence but to call him that night and inform him that someone is interested in the Murano and suggested that I should buy it at that inflated price. I am a sick man. Do these people have no moral conscience? How can they do this to a healthy person than to a man that has to fight everyday to stay alive. My disease is activated by negative stress and my Doctor ordered me to stay away from it. If I become ill because of this incident I will contact a lawyer and am strongly considering it anyway. This RALLYE MOTORS SEEMS TO HAVE ALOT OF LAWSUITS AND MANY PENDING. yet they continue. No this story will be heard by everyone in the Maritimes and across Canada. My next complaint is against Nissan Canada and their car pool program. We seen the infighting this is causing and what happened next I think is illegal. I left the car dealer and then contacted the O'Regans. I closed Brian's deal and asked for a red one. Now there was one Gun Matalic and one red Murano in all the Maritime dealerships. Why is this so? We know what happened to the gray one in the Mirimichi. Now I do not blame the O'Regans for they did what they had to do to get me this one but this is what your car pool cost me. I took a deal for a brand new 2014 Nissan Murano. What did I end up with. An SUV that was in Grand Falls. The dealer took this vehicle from town to town and put it in shows. He put 780 km on it and who knows how many people sat in it. For me to get it I had to agree to this very reluctantly and also they had to send a man to Grand Falls to drive it to Halifax and then deliver it to me with an additional1000 Km's more on it. I do not know about you but I feel I bought a new SUV AND ENDED UP WITH USED ONE. I was told that I would have to wait until 6 months if they had to order a new one, and they normally charge the customer for this delivery expense from another dealer. Do you believe that this is right for your customer? Why should I have to wait 6 months for what I paid for? Why should I have to pay to get a second hand AWD WHEN I PAID FOR A NEW ONE. Would you like this to happen to you? Explain this to me please for I believe this is very wrong. Do you think that anyone should have to go through this nightmare for eight days and end up with what I got. Now you can understand why I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A NISSAN PRODUCT AGAIN IF THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO SUFFER.
