Service which is NOT service. Go to Sergenor Hyundai instead. Here's why: We recently started noticing a new noise under the hood. It was a very consistent noise once the car was warmed up and up to instead. Here's why: We recently started noticing a new noise under the hood. This noise would go away before the car came to a stop, and did not change at all based on the car's speed (sounded exactly the same at 5km/h, 50km/h, 80km/h). I explained all of this to the service guys at Pathway, and even brought one of them on a road test to demonstrate the noise. I explained that I thought it was something related to the power steering, because turning the wheel slightly when I heard the noise would make it change a bit. And turning the air con on or off made no difference. Once they had the car, they called back to say they couldn't reproduce it again. I told them to take it out longer, and they were able to reproduce it at that point. They then called back to tell me the power steering pressure was within specs, and that everything looked OK there, so they thought it was a brake noise, which I was fairly confident it was not. Tried to explain to the guy that brake noises will change based on wheel speed, and will usually be pretty consistent while the car is moving, or when you apply or release the brakes. This noise we were hearing did not change at all with speed, or whether or not the brakes were applied. The service guy actually tried to tell me that some brake noises would sound the same at any speed, which is the complete opposite of what basic physics will tell you... They called back again later to say they saw a rust ridge on the brakes, so they told me I had to get the brakes serviced. I explained all of the above again, and they went for another test drive. After test drive number 3, their mechanic (which the service guy was very pleased to say had 31 years of experience) said that a dust shield had to be bent back on the brakes, and that the noise went away. I picked up the car anyway, pretty much knowing the noise would come back. While heading home with the car, sure enough, the noise started up again. I called Pathway again and they told me they wouldn't do anything else until I service the brakes, which I'd have to pay for. I then brought the car to Surgenor Hyundai a few days later, and they fixed the problem the same day. They found a badly pinched line in the power steering, which would make the noise when fluid would run through the line. They replaced it, and the noise is gone. They told me it was pretty obvious that that was the problem, and they didn't know how the other dealer would have missed that. So lesson learned: DON'T GO TO PATHWAY! Service there is terrible. With my last vehicle I didn't have a good experience (different dealership) so when I went to Pathway and was served by Gord Ouimet I was extremely happy and pleasantly surprised. I've never had a sales person make me feel like my best interests were the most important thing rather than just the sale. He told me that he went for a test drive with a SUV and was very surprised by its power. After weeks of shopping around, we decided to visit your dealership. We were very impressed, specially after visiting so many dealerships we could compare the difference. We have given you an excellent rating because of the difference in the approach of your sales representatives. Our Sales Representative was Julian Ferrara. He was very polite, explaining all the options, we felt absolutely no pressure in buying that day. He also invited us to visit the workshop, offered coffee, we felt that he was working for us, and making sure we were satisfied. Then we went back a few times and every time there was always something that made our choice easier because of the way we were treated, we knew then, that we had made the right choice. I must mention that one day we went to your dealer and our sales representative Julian was not working that day (our mistake), so we decided to leave and another sales representative asked us if he could help us (we don't remember his name, but we would recognize him, or maybe Julian would know). . We told him it was ok, we would come another day, and he said it would be his pleasure to help us. He told us that all the sales representatives work together as a team, and they help each other. He went in the pouring rain, got us the SUV we wanted to buy, and stayed in the rain chatting with us. That was very nice. With that kind of service for the sale of a car, it tells you that the "after sale" service will be the same, and that is very important. We've had the SUV for about 2 weeks and we enjoy it more and more. Thank you!!!! More

We walked into the dealership and were immediately greeted by Julian. Right from the start he was very friendly and took the time to answer all the questions we had. He took the time even though we told him we weren't looking to buy just yet. We ended taking a Tuscon for a test drive and he showed us everything it had to offer, from convenience to performance. At no point did he become "that pushy salesman" that we had the opportunity to meet at other dealerships. The experience caused us change our minds and to buy now. The next day we went back and received the same friendly service. Julian and Ian made the entire buying process smooth and easy. I will be looking to trade in my car in a year or so and will definitely be going back to Pathway. The service we received was better than I've had with previous car purchases. More

Most dealerships that we've gone to in the past, have either looked the other way or take tend not to take us serious due to our younger age. Yet Derek immediately introduced himself, and allowed us to express what we needed, rather than to push for a vehicle that they wanted off the lot. Derek was able to get us a brand new vehicle with everything we wanted, while still accounting for our budget. There was never a moment that we felt pressured, and he was always willing to go over every single detail that we requested. Knowing that we were without a vehicle due to our accident, he even went as far as making sure we would have the car ready 2 days after we signed for the sale. What really shows the type of character Derek is; he had even gone out of his way to drive from Orleans to St-Laurent, to be able to provide everything that was promised at the time of pickup. He has since then called on several occasions to ensure that we were happy with our purchase.This was THE BEST experience we have ever had, and he has just earned a returning customer.
