Great dealership and amazing service I went to this dealership to look for a vehicle with my girlfriend and met with Aim who was great help and spent several hours to reach a great deal. Alternator Replacement In February 2017, I went in because I had a battery charge warning light occur right outside their shop. I had a choice of going down the road to an i In February 2017, I went in because I had a battery charge warning light occur right outside their shop. I had a choice of going down the road to an independent mechanic but chose Parkway Honda because I feel more comfortable with Honda parts and labour. I asked them if they would honour a competitor dealer's coupon of $50 off service repair. Unlike other dealers, they refused. I was initially quoted $500 - 550 for replacing the alternator with a re-manufactured one. When writing up the work order the quote suddenly became $650. I had to accept it as the alternator had failed and my car was virtually dying. I went in at noon and the car was promised at 4:00 p.m. They provide a free rental car if your service is over $200 but initially they told me they would drop me off to save on that expense. I got a call at 3:00 p.m. that my car was ready. I paid $612 including taxes which is a whopping amount for a re-manufactured alternator but I thought I at least had peace of mind with genuine re-manufactured Honda parts and service. Finally upon asking, I was told that they did not install a genuine Honda re-manufactured alternator but a third party one. Hence somewhat disappointed. More

Was greeted warmly by young lad Joel who answered all questions quickly. He then shifted the conversation to the Leafs based on the shirt and cap I was wearing. Kid knew hockey and cars. This made me comfortable and with no sales pressure. This is why I hadn't stopped before. Usually car dealerships put the screws to you in your first visit which scares you off and can be daunting. Seems Joel is patient, kind, well mannered who knows a good team when he sees one. The Leafs and Parkway Honda. I will be back to Parkway and back to see Joel. More
