New Car Experience Picked up a new Explorer on a Friday night, that is what time was convenient for myself. Salesman was off that day, but knew I would be in at 7 p.m. Picked up a new Explorer on a Friday night, that is what time was convenient for myself. Salesman was off that day, but knew I would be in at 7 p.m. and said another salesman would assist. Signed the papers and Finance person gave plates to a green kid dressed like a wanna be salesman. Told him to bring the vehicle up. I was told vehicle had 27km on it, when finally got to a cold vehicle left in the dark and not running, i discovered it had 77km on it, not just a couple a km for a test. By the way, in service km still have not been updated. I ordered mats and snow tires, mats were shoved in back still in box. Snow were on but TPMS were not set, navigation was not working and said card was missing. Called back after traveling 4km from the dealer, no one left there that could assist me. Then I found out the wrong size tires were put on. When I finally cleared that up and came back in to get them swapped, it 2hr and 20 mins to do. At that time i noticed a door out of alignment and service guy told me I would have to come back and make an appointment as they had no body shop and could not fix. At any other dealership , this vehicle would have been left in a warm well lighted service bay to give a proper inspection prior to delivery. Seems picking up a $50k vehicle on a Friday night is a huge pain in the xxx for this dealership. More
