They say service for oil change open at 730 am Monday thur Friday and her I am at 745 am still waiting in line not open, so I left Northgate gmc. This not the first time this has happen. This is the worst and most dishonest dealership I have ever dealt with. Don't ever buy or service anything through this dealership. They see you coming and burn you every chance they can. I have had my seat cover changed several times and it keeps cracking because they don't know how to install it correctly. Remember when you shop or service your vehicle at Northgate Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd you are always at fault and everything done to your vehicle is done to non-oem specs. Even though you pay to have professional service done with original parts by an authorized dealership. Gm Canada is useless when it comes to them being involved. They have no authority and leave you hanging or at the mercy of the dealership. I will never buy another vehicle from Northgate Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. Try any other Gm dealership as this dealership does not care about it customers what so ever. The service advisor Lee was excellent but he does not fix the vehicle or have the authority to override the service manager who clearly in my opinion needs to learn people skills and learn how to work with loyal customers rather than telling them to xxxx off! Over the years, I was quoted high prices for maintenance that was not required. $3,672 in August 2021, of which I got a second opinion from a mechanic near South Common. So I didn’t proceed with this. 4 Years still no problems. $338.62 in June 2024 for a new battery, just a year after it was replaced. No need it’s October 2025 a the battery is still fine. Yesterday I asked to do an alignment as the front struts were replaced, and there was a reset needed to fix the traction control. I dropped my car off to be the first appointment which was booked at 7:30am. By 2:30pm I got a call that my vehicle needed further tests and it had transmission issues. Alarmed I phone for a second opinion from our family mechanic that works in a dealership. He said, “that sound strange why do they need to keep your car overnight and have the transmission expert look at it. There are no signs of transmission issues, leaking, engine lights, codes, or slipping while driving”. He told me to just do the alignment. So at 2:30pm 7 hours after I left my car, the alignment was not done and I had allegedly a failing transmission. I phone the tech back told him to stop everything and just DO what I had asked for the alignment. Why wasn’t that done? I specifically booked this appointment to be done. Don’t take me down a “failing transmission” path and scare me, until you #1 do what I asked do an alignment. Further-more why did it take 7 HOURS for him to phone me back? That’s not acceptable and frankly BAD service! I then spoke with the tech in person and the general manager with the attempt to understand WHY my service alignment was NOT done. Why hadn’t they done what I ask? And why were they on the way to charge me $179 in diagnostic fees and needing to keep my vehicle. JUST do the alignment, then if I’m still having any issues address it then. I told the tech, “I feel vulnerable and ripped off”, and it’s true, why DID he not preform what I asked first then look at issues rather than trying to make up a transmission issue? I wanted to trust you as a dealership, you are close, you are convenient. I gave you my trust in 2017, but after having three strikes and my trust has been dashed 3 times, what am I supposed to do? You guys are the experts and want to entrust you with my vehicle but on 3 occasions you proceed to charge me extra looking for problems to solve where there is no real vehicle issues. I'm a senior and had recently moved into this area of town and this was the first time I used the Quick Lube at Northgate Chev for an oil change. All the staff that worked on my vehicle were excellent, e town and this was the first time I used the Quick Lube at Northgate Chev for an oil change. I'm terrible with names due to my age & hearing aids, there were at least 5 of them on the floor that interacted with me. I think two of them were Justin & Sam? Will definitely be a repeat customer. Absolutely disgusting no professionalism, no accountability and the worst service I have EVER received in my life. I would recommend going to any other Chevy dealership then this one. They will smash up your beautiful Chevrolet Silverado HD Duramax Diesel 3500 and then never get it fixed, so you have to drive around with your truck dented in the size of a softball and the dealership takes zero accountability. Never seen anything like it in my life. Interesting I can't even rate them at zero stars and Northgate Chevrolet doesn't even deserve one star!! Dealership is likely buying personal data to place marketing calls. I've never been to the dealership (they confirmed when I returned their phone call) but had looked at financing a vehicle about a de marketing calls. They were inept and rude when I called to make sure someone else wasn't trying to get financing under my name. In this day and age if someone calls YOUR number and uses YOUR name and claims you applied for financing that's absolutely a cause for concern. Find a better marketing strategy, one that hasn't invaded anyone's privacy. Additionally the caller identified herself as "Lisa" from the financing department. The only Lisa listed is in Sales. No integrity here, I would not do business here. More

I’ve had my new truck in for warranty work and it’s been there for 3 months now. I have spoken with the service manager 1 time (Lee, I think was his name) at that was approximately 6 weeks after dropping m there for 3 months now. He then told me it would be another 2 weeks, so, I call back in 2 weeks. I have tried to get a hold of him 3 times, leaving messages and a voicemail asking for an update, sadly, no response. That is why I’m leaving this poor review and it’s directed right at the service manager. A little more to the story and I can tell you that we have purchased 10 company vehicles from this dealership and that will be the last ones we buy from Chevrolet period. I have had a meeting with my fellow managers and we have all agreed that we will buy FORD as we replace our fleet. Way to go Lee, thanks for nothing, especially being ignored, keep up the good work More

My 85 yr old Mom took her Enclave here when her liftgate wouldn't close with the fob or pad. The tech scanned it and said it required a "liftgate actuator". I'm not a tech, so I did the You Tube search and found 3 possible problems to check before spending that amount of money. The fuse, the toggle switch by the socket for the phone charger and to "insert the key in the ignition, turn it to it's second location so the dash lights up.(not start). Then press and hold fob liftgate button for 5 seconds. Now the liftgate opens and closes with the fob and pad. The fob and actuator are reset! I called and talked with Service Advisor "Lee Kindret" requesting a refund for $93.98 for the diagnostic charge and subsequent misdiagnosis. He told me I would have to talk with "Richard McKoryk" the Service Manager. When Richard returned from holidays, he finally called back and said that my Mom wouldn't get a refund because they did a scan. I said it was misdiagnosed!! I told him I did a You Tube fix that cost Zero dollars and it's working again without having to pay $1062.20. I believe the service department went for the easy mark, my 85 yr old mom and tried to charge for parts and service that wasn't required! Richard McKoryk got angry with my accusation, but in the end it was a You Tube Mechanic that fixed the liftgate problem and save my Mom over $1000. More
