I’ve had my new truck in for warranty work and it’s been there for 3 months now. I have spoken with the service manager 1 time (Lee, I think was his name) at that was approximately 6 weeks after dropping m there for 3 months now. I have spoken with the service manager 1 time (Lee, I think was his name) at that was approximately 6 weeks after dropping my truck off and also it was when he told me the part would be in. He then told me it would be another 2 weeks, so, I call back in 2 weeks. I have tried to get a hold of him 3 times, leaving messages and a voicemail asking for an update, sadly, no response. That is why I’m leaving this poor review and it’s directed right at the service manager. A little more to the story and I can tell you that we have purchased 10 company vehicles from this dealership and that will be the last ones we buy from Chevrolet period. I have had a meeting with my fellow managers and we have all agreed that we will buy FORD as we replace our fleet. Way to go Lee, thanks for nothing, especially being ignored, keep up the good work More
My 85 yr old Mom took her Enclave here when her liftgate wouldn't close with the fob or pad. The tech scanned it and said it required a "liftgate actuator". She was given a $1062.69 quote and $93.98 for th wouldn't close with the fob or pad. The tech scanned it and said it required a "liftgate actuator". She was given a $1062.69 quote and $93.98 for the diagnosis. My Mom called me and I said I would see what I could do. I'm not a tech, so I did the You Tube search and found 3 possible problems to check before spending that amount of money. The fuse, the toggle switch by the socket for the phone charger and to "insert the key in the ignition, turn it to it's second location so the dash lights up.(not start). Then press and hold fob liftgate button for 5 seconds. Now the liftgate opens and closes with the fob and pad. The fob and actuator are reset! I called and talked with Service Advisor "Lee Kindret" requesting a refund for $93.98 for the diagnostic charge and subsequent misdiagnosis. He told me I would have to talk with "Richard McKoryk" the Service Manager. When Richard returned from holidays, he finally called back and said that my Mom wouldn't get a refund because they did a scan. I said it was misdiagnosed!! I told him I did a You Tube fix that cost Zero dollars and it's working again without having to pay $1062.20. I believe the service department went for the easy mark, my 85 yr old mom and tried to charge for parts and service that wasn't required! Richard McKoryk got angry with my accusation, but in the end it was a You Tube Mechanic that fixed the liftgate problem and save my Mom over $1000. More
Service department attempted to coerce my wife into $745 of service that was not required. New battery $454. The battery was later tested and found to be fine. A new battery retail is < $200. Filter repl of service that was not required. New battery $454. The battery was later tested and found to be fine. A new battery retail is < $200. Filter replacement(2) $96 - filters were replaced in May and is still easily usable. Wipers and sensor $195 - our vehicle does not have that sensor. New blades retail at $50 Service manager stated "we only suggest service". The service technician clearly stated her vehicle needed those items, which was an outright lie. More

Having recently bought a Chev product from another dealership, I decided to stop into the Northgate dealership to inquire about accessories and service. Chris Evans (parts advisor) was more than happ dealership, I decided to stop into the Northgate dealership to inquire about accessories and service. Chris Evans (parts advisor) was more than happy to answer all my questions in a professional, courteous and non rushed way. He took the time to ensure that I fully understood my tire choices (when the time comes). He engaged me as a customer! Great job Chris! More
I switched to Northgate from Saint Albert due to great service. The service provided by Shaun and Lee is top notch. Reconsider bringing your vehicle here! I brought my Corvette to a dealership that I thought could service it seeing that they sold them. That was my first mistake. The second mistake was I brought my Corvette to a dealership that I thought could service it seeing that they sold them. That was my first mistake. The second mistake was trusting that qualiflied people would be honest and consider the customer. I originally agreed to 1 hour diagnostic charge. Then received a call the following day to approve a 4 hours diagnostic charge. Upon dropping the car off I was assured by the service advisor that if needed alternate or aftermarket parts would be considered for the repair. Ultimately after inspection I was advised that parts were unavailable and Northgate did not want to install alternate parts. So I asked asked on several occasions to speak to the tech and parts manager for more detail but they were never available. So I had to pay $638 for a general quote with no specific answers and tow my vehicle home. When my vehicle was towed home I noticed grease on the drivers side mat and black scuffs on the plastic surrounding the base of the drivers door. I contacted the service advisor and got no response. This will be the first and last time they see any of my vehicles and I will be sure to pass on my honest experience.. More
I had an oil change done on my Cadillac SRX on Dec 22, 2022. On the invoice, the tech entered the wrong vehicle year, the wrong licence plate number, and the wrong VIN. I wonder if he put in the right oi 2022. On the invoice, the tech entered the wrong vehicle year, the wrong licence plate number, and the wrong VIN. I wonder if he put in the right oil.
