We at North York Chrysler are committed to delivering unparalleled value, trust and transparency in every transaction and stand behind everything we sell. As you mentioned, your transmission malfunctioned 2 months after purchasing your vehicle. Through our continuous efforts to demonstrate our transparency and good intent; we shared with you all the original reconditioning reports and safety inspections done on the vehicle. As it was evident, the transmission was in a perfect condition with no signs of weakness during mechanical inspection and when the oil change was performed on the vehicle. Respectfully, as has been communicated to both you and your mother on multiple occasions: All vehicles have the potential to break down when pushed to their limit regardless of being new or used/ with warranty or without. If the transmission truly had a significant issue when the vehicle was purchased, it would have become evident within days or a week or two, not 2 months later. After being in the business of helping people find their perfect car for so many years, we fully understand that cars could break down even when there are no signs of weakness. For that reason, we ensure that every customer is informed of the risks of owning vehicles and the options available to insure against such breakdowns. Unfortunately you made an informed decision to decline all such protections, knowingly and willingly. To help you with your situation; we offered to repair your vehicle at a price lower than our cost which you declined. We also offered to provide you with any extended warranty at cost to help cover you for all future break downs, which you also declined. Every employee involved, from the General Manager, to your Finance Manager, Service Manager, Sales Representative and myself has tried to help you in any way possible, but every effort has been declined. We are not sure how else we could help. Expecting no charge repairs when you've knowingly declined all protections which would have covered you is not correct/right/fair, especially when it happened 2 months past delivery time and well after our complimentary 36 days warranty. Alexander, once again, we do apologize that you have had this experience, and regardless of your review, we are still here to help you out with all of the options we discussed.
