Overall had an excellent experience purchasing my new car. Mo was very transparent with the condition of my used car over the phone and via text prior to my visit to the dealer. He followed up with phone calls to ensure I was made aware of all details of the car and it's history which I greatly appreciated. Mo was quick to reply to all my inquiries and was friendly and accommodating during my experience. The detailing team did an excellent job and my car looked perfect upon pick up. Only inconvienence is that this dealership only accepts wire transfer for vehicle down payments which leaves the buyer subject to a $45 service fee with their financial institution for conducting the wire transfer which the dealership does not absorb the cost of. It would be nice if the dealership would accept certified check or bank drafts as a method of cash on delivery payment like many other do that have lower service fees to the buyer. More

Instead, look at the negative reviews to see if there's a common theme. If there is one, you can trust that there's some truth to it. 3 COMMON NEGATIVE THEMES IN THEIR REVIEWS: 1. Shady financial leadership/sales tactics 2. Poor service 3. Unprofessional staff I didn’t experience the last 2 (I didn’t service my car, and my salesman was nice), but the shady financial leadership and tactics this dealership serves to its customers is reckless. After a horrible experience trying to buy a car, it's dealerships like this that confirm the stereotype of being crooked & shifty. I found a car that I was interested in. I went to see it, negotiated a price for my trade-in and signed a deal. I said that I'm looking for a cash sale, no financing needed, and put a deposit down with a credit card. They would not take cash or certified check as payment because of past frauds so the only way to pay is by wire transfer. They sent me their bank account info for the transfer but it wasn't consistent with their bank branch. Then they sent new/different account info, yet my bank flagged again that it's not consistent with their bank branch. This is scary - if the wire transfer goes to the wrong account the money is gone and my bank can't retrieve it. Told this to my salesman and he agreed to accepting a certified check. I ordered the check and shortly after I got a text from my salesman saying that the owner of the dealership won't accept a certified check. By this point the check was already created. After wasting a lot of time, effort and money the deal was cancelled because of inaccurate banking info on their end and their unwillingness to accept a certified check which they previously agreed to. And as a side note, they hit me with hidden costs of $50 for fuel and a $99 finance fee on top of the sale price (even though I'm not financing with them), which goes against OMVIC regulations of “all-in pricing as advertised” - something they’ve been nailed on in recent years and were fined $10,000 in the past as per OMVIC. A week later I got a call from my salesman saying that the owner will make an exception just for me and accept a certified check provided that I wait for it to clear before they release the car to me (which may take a few days). I agreed. I arranged for a certified check from my bank again and brought it to the dealership for them to deposit. They also asked me to remove a review that I posted the previous week, as the manager is concerned about negative reviews. I removed it in good faith, but I'm now back again, and here's why. They deposited the check Tues and by Wed it cleared - the money was in their account (confirmed by them AND the bank). Then they tell me that I can’t pick up the car until Friday. Then it changed to the next Monday as they want the money to "sit" in their account for 5 days before releasing the car. This is ridiculous! They have my money in their account, and they won't release the car to me? I played by their rules twice now, all of which fell through because of their incompetencies at the 11th hour to properly close a deal. Something is very wrong here. After reading the negative reviews about the antics they practice, I’ve lost all confidence in the dealerships ability to provide me with a sound vehicle transaction. This is confirmed by my experience being similar to others that have tried and/or bought from them before. The deal was cancelled again. They refunded me but of course subtracted wire transfer costs because they are unprofessional and don't know what real customer service is. I've bought many cars and never had such issues with a dealership. Will never go back and will ensure anyone I know doesn't either. They clearly do not care about their customers and continue to practice shady financial tactics. Fast forward 3 days: bought a car at a different dealership - easy peasy and its in my driveway! Be very weary of CarHub North York. STAY AWAY! More

When I called the UCDA to complain they knew the dealer I was talking about before I even told them the dealer name. STAY AWAY More

Amir was very helpful and friendly and did keep in touch to reassure me about this purchase, and finally delivered the car to me at my home I thank him for all his assistance and love my new car. More
