Being from a small community in Central Ontario we realized early on that we have to shop around by phone due to distances involved in travelling to various dealerships when purchasing a new vehicle. Many dealerships were not interested in dealing with us over the phone.. but not Leo...We could tell by the get go that this was the place we were going to buy. Upon arriving at the dealership in person Leo took the time to explain the product and give us all the details to finalize the sale. I know he went to bat for us with the general Manager to seal the deal on our new Tacoma. The Finance Manager Dawn Moffatt was also a pleasure to deal with. She was very knowledgeable and explained all of our financing options. The day after delivery of the vehicle we discovered and issue with one aluminum rims. I immediately contacted Leo who was extremely apologetic for the situation. Instead of putting me through to the service department to look after it myself he personally handled the situation and made all the arrangements with the Service manager to have the problem rectified. He even threw in a gas card for all the trouble .. How is that for service !! If you are shopping for a Toyota .. you need to go see Leo at North Bay Toyota !! More

At the least they could have said we'll guys we appreciate that fact you came down from such a long ride but there isn't much we can do except perhaps a few hundred.. Instead we got "Maybe you guys are looking at the wrong car". Not to mention you can't pay them more then $3000 on credit card because then they have to pay more "fee". Also because they're in North Bay and don't require emission testing to be done, they will not reimburse you even if you require it by law where you live. Most possibly, the worst dealer I have walked into my entire life. Please avoid them at all cost and save your precious time. More
Great salesman at a so-so dealership I had checked out cars at quite a few dealerships prior to settling on North Bay Toyota and Brent Ogletree (my salesman) was a large part of why I cho I had checked out cars at quite a few dealerships prior to settling on North Bay Toyota and Brent Ogletree (my salesman) was a large part of why I chose to buy at North Bay Toyota. He was extremely helpful throughout the process and there was no rush or pressure to buy. I can tell you that I felt very uncomfortable at some of the other dealerships I checked out and would not do business with people that I did not trust. Brent was willing to take my calls and texts at any hour and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. For any concerns or issues that I had, Brent did not hesitate to provide a solution and find time for me in his day even after I had purchased the car. Unfortunately, I did not feel like Brent's work ethic and friendliness extended to some other employees in North Bay Toyota's sales department that I spoke with who seemed more interested in the bottom line than my satisfaction. I would give Brent a 5/5 review as I could not ask for more from him and would definitely do business with him again. The dealership receives a 3/5 largely due to my brief experience with the general manager Paul who I felt was very rude. I cannot comment on the service department as my new car has not had any work done on it yet. More
Venza Service As has been the case in the past, the service was excellent. I do have to mention specifically the support I received from Jason (356)on the Service Desk and also the technician Kyle (174) who went out of his way to identify and correct the problem. Although I live in Port Hope Ont. I always bring the car back to North Bay Toyota - I have family in town - as I receive such good service there. Shane - Sales Manager has also been very supportive since he sold me the car back in 2013. Keep up the good work. Bob Underwood More

I’ve purchased a used 2010 Toyota Avalon. This vehicle is fairly unique (Autotrader.ca reveals a total of 6 in the country) and I had to take a bus from Ottawa to see it. With the long distance travel and inability to see the vehicle in-person come a lot of complications with the purchase process. Roberto Tignanelli was my sales person. I feel he has gone above and beyond in what I would expect from a car salesman alleviating my concerns (I’m a picky buyer so there was no shortage of those – ask him about the turbulent whistling issues that I had him check that is present in 2011-12 Avalon models), being helpful in the business side of things, picking me up from the bus station in your town which I’ve never been to before and even offering to pick up something from the bank due to a last minute mishap (which eventually did not materialize). The price negotiation was done in advance and I believe I got a good deal for the car. An overall very pleasant experience! More
I had an excellent experience with North Bay Toyota, especially dealing with YVONNE O'CONNOR. I had called our local Toyota dealer in Sudbury, and their approach was typical car salesmen's. It was hard especially dealing with YVONNE O'CONNOR. I had called our local Toyota dealer in Sudbury, and their approach was typical car salesmen's. It was hard to deal with anyone, including the Manager. Called North Bay Toyota, which is about 120 km away from Sudbury, explained what I was looking for, they have connected me with YVONNE O'CONNOR. It was a pleasure dealing with North Bay Toyota. Did most of the work over the phone and by mail. Yesterday afternoon drove down to North Bay, finished rest of the formalities. The dealership is much bigger and better managed than Sudbury Toyota dealership. I am happy that I called rather than taking the rubbish from Sudbury dealership. Will definitely would recommend anyone to North Bay Toyota, and will definitely use for my future purchases as well. More
