Worry free I went to dealership to check potential new purchase and remembered I got a card advising of a recall on my 2004 Toyota Matrix. They found there were more recalls and made appointment to fix them very quickly. But took time to ensure they will have part to fix all. When I left car, I had additional questions and Bryan answered all with very detail explanations and alleviated my worries regarding items I did not have appointment for. I was concerned since I bought the car from Mississauga Toyota a few weeks ago. When I took it in to do a diagnosis, the service department recommended that I should take it to a Kia dealership since they are not specialized for Kia vehicles. I went to a Kia dealership, where I found out that I had 3 parts in my engine on recall which was the cause of the check engine light. I think it's great when dealerships are honest in that they'll say "go somewhere else, they'll do a better job". Shows that they're also looking at your best interests too. More

This time I spent a little more than I had planned as they found items that needed to be resolved to their maintenance schedule but thought that, as it was a Tuesday, that my "seniors discount" might help the financial side (I'm 82 years) but on checkout it was forgotten to be applied...on completion I found someone else's "check list" attached to my invoice (it was for a Sienna not my Matrix)...I then returned the "check list" to the service department and departed for home. this was the 1st "mix up" that I have encountered since using your service department.... SCAM!!!!! I brought my car for a second maintanance, simple enough its a new car. I asked to check the alignment cause it was twisting towards the left. They I brought my car for a second maintanance, simple enough its a new car. I asked to check the alignment cause it was twisting towards the left. They called me and told me it was done but that there was "Substantial Amount of damage" at the rear control arm. I was confused because the car has 17000 km and has never had any issues at the back. The service tech said it was from a fender bender. The car had the FRONT right minor esthetic fix from a tap minor collision. The MANAGER said it was an OPEN AND SHUT CASE that this front fender bender annulled the warranty. I went to another collision center and they said that the car was SOLID and new. I also took it one more step and took it to another TOYOTA dealer had the car checked out by the shop manager and other mechanics took pics and have paperwork stating nothing wrong with the car. THE DUNDAS DEALERSHIP WANTED TO CHARGE ME OUT OF POCKET OVER $1500 FOR WORK ON A NEW CAR THAT'S NOT BROKEN. It was out of pocket cause it was in a colision "OPEN AND SHUT CASE" manager said. I have paperwork to prove all this. More
