I received a letter from Hyundai last season informing me that my 2014 Tucson was being recalled. I phoned Mississauga Hyundai dealership where I purchased my vehicle and have had it serviced regularly unti that my 2014 Tucson was being recalled. I phoned Mississauga Hyundai dealership where I purchased my vehicle and have had it serviced regularly until shuttle service was no longer available during Covid. (I have had it regularly serviced locally during this time.) I showed the Recall letter to Nishal the Service Agent and my vehicle received 50HYZZR0180 11D021 – Nu 2.0 GDI Engine ECM Update KSDS Enhancement on December 1, 2021. Since this update, the Knock Sensor has repeatedly come on 4 times. 1st on Jan 18, I immediately took my car to a local licensed mechanic when the engine light went on and the acceleration of the car was reduced. I paid $135.60 for a Diagnostic Scan that showed Code P1326 Knock Sensor. He turned off the Knock Sensor and said the car was running well. 2nd on Jan25th sensor came on again and a local mechanic assessed the car and suggested I call the dealership and have them look at it as he felt there was nothing wrong with the car. 3rd Jan 25 I took the car to Mississauga Hyundai and paid for another Diagnostic fee of $141.25 only to be told that they shut the sensor off and if it happened again they would look into it further. I asked them to fix it then but was told there was a process they had to follow and it needed to happened again for them to proceed. 4th February 2, 2022 the Knock Sensor indicator went on again. I returned the vehicle to Mississauga Hyundai where it was turned off again. The sensor came back on again within 20 minutes of leaving the dealership. I spoke to Nishal who told me that I could continue to drive my vehicle but to not go over 80 kilometres per hour. I did not feel this was safe. Please note that I do not live in Mississauga and getting the vehicle to the dealership with hampered acceleration back to the dealership in busy city traffic in terms of safety has been a concern. The series of misinformation and aggravation of having my “perfectly working” vehicle become a safety risk because I followed the direction of the Recall notice received from Hyundai has been extreme. I have been given information that changed continuously and this has eroded my faith in the dealership and the level of service Hyundai is providing paying customer. . I am frustrated with the miscommunication & feel that my many years of loyalty to this dealership is not respected or valued On Feb 3 Mississauga Hyundai Service Advisor Nishal informed me that the Knock Sensor was on back order and it could be a 2 week wait. He offered a rental car, available in a few days. I left messages for him after a few days and did not receive a call back. On Feb 7 I called the Service Dept and was told the Knock Sensor part was in the week before. This information was frustrating. They booked an appointment for Feb 8 at 9:30 am. I requested a call from Nishal so I could make arrangements. I also left a voice message for him. No call back came. Early Feb 8, I called again learn to learn from Nishal that the rental was denied and the file had been escalated to see if it could be fixed under warranty. He said he received an email from Head Office indicating the file needed to be escalated to an engineer tech and would send a copy of the email to me. He assured me he would call me Feb 9th to let me know the status. No call nor email received. On Feb 11, I called the Service Dept to request to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was currently busy and would call me as soon as they were free. I did not receive a call. Later on Feb 11 Nishal called and offered me a Loaner vehicle that day. I requested a manager call me and was told the manager was in a meeting and would call me when they were done. One and half hours later Nishal called to say there were no vehicles available for me to use that day but would have one available February 14. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were still in meetings and would call me when they were finished. I never ever received a call. On Feb 14 I received a call telling me a Loner car was available. I drove my car as best I could to the dealership. I was given the use of a vehicle and was told that it would take 4 more days before a decision was made about the car. When I questioned him, I was told for the 1st time that my car requires a new engine and they were waiting to see if it would be covered under warranty. I no longer trust or believe that this dealership will find a solution to the problem that exists because I followed the direction I received from a Recall Notice I received from Hyundai Inc. It is Feb 18, and I still have no answer. More

Had the pleasure of purchasing our new Palisade from Abdullah at MIssissauga Hyundai. My wife and I were very happy with the communication throughout the process and have to say that the few thoughtful Abdullah at MIssissauga Hyundai. My wife and I were very happy with the communication throughout the process and have to say that the few thoughtful gestures we received when we picked up our vehicle were truly appreciated. We received a fair price for our trade-in and feel we got great value for our purchase. Also liked how the team worked together to get the vehicle ready for me. Quin is great, but the dealer wont sell the brand new car without buying their add on worth 5K. They used this tactics since there are two left units. I had a horrible experience trying to purchase a Santa Cruz 2022. Incorrect vehicle ordered, no admission of wrongdoing. I tried to resolve with my salesperson (Hardee’s), the sales manager Kenny and even Cruz 2022. Incorrect vehicle ordered, no admission of wrongdoing. I tried to resolve with my salesperson (Hardee’s), the sales manager Kenny and even with the GM and owner. No resolution. I finally received my deposit back after 7 months of delays. I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealership if they paid me to. Incompetent and zero accountability of sales team by management and Hyundai Canada. A disgrace! More
