Very unhappy with our experience at this dealership. They really are focused on themselves and not the customer. During the entire process communication was fair at best. They barely budged on their price because they said of how much they gave their sales manager's son when he traded it in. So obviously we had to end up paying for this. Talk about nepotism. They insisted that their $699 "safety package" was mandatory. And we cannot opt out. It included, safety stickers for theft insurance top up coverage, wheel locks (that not until after we signed up they said did not even exist for that car, so giving $100 back but waiting on that still hmmmm), and a 2 year tire repair warranty. We did not want any of it so they reduced it to $499 but was still mandatory. They finally admitted that they were using this safety package to gross up the price. I wonder if the Consumer Protection laws even allow this...something to check out. They would not give a price to you unless you were in front of them. Then they would offer something and walk away! Seemed shady and greasy. Not that the offer was much of a give. The sales person was Matthew L. who seemed to want to deal but the General Sales Manager, Shane, was quite arrogant. They ended up throwing in some used snow tires sight unseen though, as they did not have them at the dealership, but said that they were only used one season. The guy who put them on for us said the wear on the tread was two years for sure. It took a week for them to get these tires from their warehouse here in town. Everyday I asked when I could pick them up but they danced around it and never gave a straight answer! Had to bring it back in for the detailing too but took them a week to agree to a time, Then that day and time became a moving target. Matthew did not know how to book an appointment with the service department. Came in for my appointment and it was a mess. Service was on lunch he said but had no idea for how long as it "wasn't his department". Very condescending. I made him go ask! The service guy came right out. "How long will it take to detail", I asked? He said "no idea". Could be 30 minutes or four hours? He had very poor communication skills throughout the dealing. Did not return my phone calls and usually late with texts with vague answers. They always claimed to be so busy and said "everybody has schedules" but anytime I was in the dealership there were very few customers ever. Now I know why. I recommend to go elsewhere to buy a vehicle. More
Constantly trying to upcharge. Went in for a service package and had a charge of around $20 on top of it. Asked what it was and was told "shop supplies", rags, brake cleaner, etc. I said shouldn't that package and had a charge of around $20 on top of it. Will not return on principle. Was it worth milking the extra $20 out of me? More
