I had a battery fail after only 16 months. Service Manager Omid Rezaee and Dave Khialli refused to honor the 60-month warranty labeled on the part, claiming that because the previous replacement (Nov 22, 2024 was done under warranty and I "did not pay for it." As seen in my attached invoice, the battery was reading at a catastrophic 4 Volts-a total collapse despite being less than 17 months old. This is a clear sian of either a defective product or an underlying electrical issue that the dealership refused to investigate under my CPO warranty Under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, goods must be of "merchantable quality. A premium battery failing so completely in such a short window is an objectively defective product, regardless of how it was originally paid for. Offering a mere 15% discount for a repeat failure is not a resolution; it's an insult to customer loyalty I've lost confidence in Acura Markham's willingness to stand behind their "Genuine Acura Parts ." Horrible parts department. . staffs seems not have a clue what parts the client needs and ordered the wrong parts. My acura TLX intermittently had the Lkas, collision mitigation problem, auto high beam, cruise control lights on. My car has comprehensive warranty. I understand if the part is not covered, it is a CP mitigation problem, auto high beam, cruise control lights on. My car has comprehensive warranty. I understand if the part is not covered, it is a CP job and that I will have to pay for a diag as well. Omid stated even if you have comprehensive warranty on the part, you still have to pay for diag. I wasn't happy but still agreed to proceed. Technician diagnosed and informed Omid that the multipurpose camera is faulty. Also technician claims that I have an aftermarket glass. Omid said the multipurpose camera is covered but he said that warranty department will not warranty my multi purpose camera if they find out my glass is aftermarket. He stated they will ask for pictures of glass and worried if warranty department will kick back claim. Omid said he will try to claim the glass through warranty then proceed with claiming the multi purpose camera afterwards. Guess what after? He says I still have to pay for calibration regardless. If the part is covered, labor should also be covered. So I paid for the diag and left. Anyways several weeks passed and he notified us stating acura will cover half the cost of windshield. So I would have to pay the other half of windshield plus labor which is 981.60 taxes included. If I was to proceed with this CP job, he said he will warranty the camera and switched it up saying he will cover the calibration fees as well. NOTE: this car was bought from an acura dealership. Was told all parts on car was was OEM. From when I had this vehicle till now, I have never replaced the windshield. In order to sell a vehicle that came back from a lease return, everything equipped with vehicle has to be up to Acura's specs. Clearly wasn't the case. I went to maple acura. Took less than 3 hours to rediagnose and state that camera is faulty. He said he ordered the camera and will follow up with a service appt. I didn't have to pay for a diag. Please see attached files. I had my door handle replaced a few years ago as a result of rust leaking from it and now the handle is moving/not secure besides the rest of the handles also leaking rust. lack of customer service To be fair, the vehicles are fine... but when it comes to service with this dealership, you may want to lower your expectation. It is mission impossible to speak to anyone from service department over the phone. Whether you leave a voice message for service manager or coordinator, they don't call you back - they are quite consistent doing so. They dont' call you when ordered part arrives even if they said so. People from parts department are friendly. Also be warned of shuttle bus service, if you live near by, you might just consider walk. This dealership is located in a very well convenient location, but unfortunately most staffs look not motivated and lack of energy to service customers. More
IGNORED I visited this dealership 02-03-2020 at about 2.30pm. i currently lease an Acura 2018 ilx and the lease expires in a few months. I was with my son and was looking to upgrade to a Acura TLX A-spec. My son and i were in the showroom for over 10 minutes taking pictures of the white TLX on the showroom that i was interested in. we actually got into the car to check it out and snapped over 10 pictures. NOBODY acknowledge that i was there and to offer service even though i could see 2-3 sales staff within 10 to 15 feet from me in their cubicles NOT with customers. Business must be Great at this dealership if they can afford to ignore existing Acura customers. I stopped at the desk at the entrance before i left and relayed by experience to the lady there and she just looks at me dumbfounded. I know there are other Acura dealers nearby and i will take my business elsewhere. Robert Silva More

Anthony listened to my concerns attentively as I addressed them, executed a plan and the work was done accordingly. I met their service manager Steve Fleming whom I was imm In 2010 I bought three new Acuras from Downtown Acura, one for myself and two for daughters. I met their service manager Steve Fleming whom I was immensely impressed with. Soon thereafter Steve moved to Markham Acura. Every time I need the most insignificant service or job done to my Acura, I travel one hour each way to consult with Steve. My daughters also find Steve direct, honest and extremely trustworthy. He is a very nice man! My daughters travel even further to ensure that their cars are taken care of by Steve. Honestly, I would buy Acuras for the rest of my life if I could be assured that Steve would always be available to help out. Highly, highly recommended!! More
