I purchased a vehicle from Lockwood Kia in December, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. At no point during the transaction was I informed that the vehicle had a lengthy history of unreso my experience has been extremely disappointing. At no point during the transaction was I informed that the vehicle had a lengthy history of unresolved issues. This was never disclosed or mentioned. Shortly after taking delivery, I discovered the problems and promptly reached out to the dealership to request that the deal be canceled and my money returned. Despite my reasonable request, they refused to cooperate. I communicated directly with the Used Car Manager, Peter Drummond, and the General Manager, Michael DeFreitas. Unfortunately, both individuals chose to ignore my concerns and did not provide any meaningful assistance or resolution. As someone who is also in the automotive industry, I find this level of conduct particularly concerning. If this is how they treat fellow dealers, I can only imagine how members of the general public are treated. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this dealership. More

They lied about pricing, adding hidden fees and excessive markups that were never disclosed upfront. Every time I raised a concern, instead of taking responsibility, they tried to shift the blame to another Kia department—a culture of finger-pointing rather than problem-solving. The lack of honesty, accountability, and professionalism here is shocking. What should have been an exciting purchase turned into weeks of stress, wasted time, and frustration. If you value your money, your time, and basic respect as a customer, avoid this dealership at all costs. There are plenty of other dealers who understand what integrity and customer service actually mean. More
