A + Experience I truly don.t do reviews to often but this was such a great experience for me I had to share it. Having looked around several dealerships the past I truly don.t do reviews to often but this was such a great experience for me I had to share it. Having looked around several dealerships the past week my son took me to Vancouver Kia to check out a certain vehicle he thought would be a good fit for me. We met Gerald, he asked a few questions, and then went to work, he was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He was not what I call a typical car salesman always had my criteria that I had reiterated to him in mind, never did I feel he was selling me! No he was servicing my needs - a big difference in my book! The whole experience had been a great one from Gerald and also Joe another "good person" who I felt really made me feel he was in my corner so to speak. You want good people to help you with your vehicle requirements go to this dealership and ask for Gerald you will not be disappointed! (Mr) Ashley Page More

No hassel test d Gerald was the only sales person who didn't act like a used car salesman. Consumate professional! . Knows his product inside and out. No hassel test driving 6 different vehicles. Kept his word on all promises made. That means a lot to me. Would definitely recommend doing business with Gerald! More
Steer clear of KIA Vancouver Why? 1) INCONSISTENT PRICE QUOTE When asked the price of the cars, the salesman (Phil) told us to refer to the website as it had the most updated Why? 1) INCONSISTENT PRICE QUOTE When asked the price of the cars, the salesman (Phil) told us to refer to the website as it had the most updated information. We were happy with the advertised internet price and wanted to confirm that the dealer would honour it. After the test drive, we shown a different “dealer price” list, roughly $5000 more than the internet price. He said it was the standard dealership markup fee. We argued if that was so, he should have told us in the beginning when we asked. We were able to resolve this so we went ahead with the purchase. 2) FAILED TO FULLY DISCLOSE ALL HIDDEN FEES BEFORE PROCESSING When asked what the total coast would be, including ALL the hidden fees, he only mentioned the $695 “document fee” and taxes. When we met with the financing manager, we came up against an additional $199 for “Prep and PDI”, $699 for “brokerage fee” and $94 for “financing fee”. We were told these were "standard" fees part of every deal. We were able to challenge the brokerage fee, and accepted paying for the other two because we were already set on the deal. Nonetheless, the complaint is that these should have been disclosed when we had asked -- before committing to the deal, before they’d taken our old car and started ‘prepping’ the new car. 3) LIED / MISINFORMED ABOUT INCLUDED FEATURES OF NEW CAR We stated the main objective of our test drive was to get a feel for the steering/handling. There was no ambiguity this was the main feature we wanted in our car. We rejected our first test drive of the Rio because of the slack steering. We told Phil this point blank: we wanted sport steering. This was why he focused on showing us a “flex steering” feature in the Forte in our second test drive. Since we were not expecting to buy the test drive car, I specifically asked if this feature was in the new car we wanted and his answer was "yes, same". Even when pressed for all the differences between the test drive car and the new car, he listed other things (rear camera, leather steering wheel, carbon panel dash, large UVO display screen…etc), but NOT the steering. Phil gave us incorrect information about the differences between the car we test drove and the new car we got. We noticed right away after driving the new car off the lot that it was not "yes, same". Since we'd already been there the whole day without food (it took 5+ hrs to straighten out the deal and it was already closing time when we left), we decided to first go home and verify the flex steering feature was not there. 4) IGNORED COMPLAINTS We confronted them about this the very next day in person. Phil was not in but a manager, Harry, told us he would get back to us in 2 days; he had admitted that their own sales policies had not been followed. After a week and no response we followed up with an email. It has been over 2 weeks since our initial complaint and there has been no response. CONCLUSION Beware of all the positive ratings here because they're just the lucky ones that happen to get the car they wanted. The fact remains, the usual "seedy car salesman tactics" exist here. The poor rating is largely because of #3 and 4. If we had gotten the car we expected, we would have easily shrugged off the problems of #1 and 2 as being "part of the negotiation process". Nonetheless, they're still deceptive sales tactics that cost us hours to resolve. Look up the complaints filed against them at the BBB. Once they have your money, you cease to exist. More

Great experience with Kia Vancouver and employees! I had a great experience at this dealership. Everyone there is friendly and is there to help you get the car you need/love at a reasonable price. N I had a great experience at this dealership. Everyone there is friendly and is there to help you get the car you need/love at a reasonable price. Nav (Navjot Singh) is a very friendly and patient salesman. My wife and I contacted him regarding a used car and when we got there we looked at the used car and we didn't like it. We asked him to show us more cars. After about 2 hours of looking through many cars with many details and test driving 3 cars we found one that we loved. During the entire time, he was very patient and did not appear pushy, which worked out great for us (I hate pushy salesmen!). We then moved on to negotiate the price and I could certainly see that both Nav and Harry were valuing us as a customer and did not want us to leave there without a car. They provided us with a CarProof and everything and the Carproof matched their description of the car. To close the deal we met with Santino. Wow! He is very great in spotting details and letting you know what things you should be careful with when you sign the contract. We had few things that wasn't clear, and he asked us to stop proceeding with the deal until those discrepancies are cleared! I felt like he was our advocate. Everything got cleared though! Overall, we had a great experience at Kia Vancouver. Go there now if you want to buy a car and find Nav. Make sure you say hi to Harry and close the deal at Santino's office. More
