Two weeks ago I went in to Kia to get my summer tires put back on my car, and my oil change done. When I got to the front desk, I was greeted by a gentleman, by the name of JP. I told him why I was there, and JP looked on his computer. JP then continued to inform me, that it is MY responsibility to make sure that I inform the service guys that my tires aren't at the location. I was obviously confused, and JP continued on to tell me that when you store your tires for the season with Kia, they are brought to a location where all of the tires are kept. Just so everyone knows, folks, when making an appointment with Kia to have your tires switched over, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO DO THEIR JOB AND MAKE SURE YOUR TIRES ARE IN THE SHOP. So after taking the afternoon off work for nothing, I rescheduled my appointment with Kia for two weeks later; being today! I went into Kia and had a chat with the Manager, Will. Will was pleasant enough, as Managers are expected to be. I was expecting Will to give me a good deal, considering all the hassle I had to go through. It costs $80 to store your tires for two seasons. Basically, if you're storing winter and summer tires, that's $160.00 a year. Will, being the generous Manager that he is, gave me $20.00 off of my tire storage. Throw a party. Definitely made up for the "hiccup" (as Will had said) that happened two weeks prior. Will filled out the paperwork, and we went over the totals together. The total cost for oil change, tire change, and $60 worth of tire storage came to $209.00. Expensive still, but fair enough, I wasn't going to complain. I sit for a while and read my book. Patient as a peach. All of a sudden, JP appears behind the desk and calls me up to pay. JP states, "Okay, that'll be $420.00. WHAT? I was not rude, but I simply stated that was not what Will and I had discussed. JP THREW the paperwork on the counter and went to the back. JP comes back and says, "Okay, that'll be $315.00." Contrary to popular belief, I wasn't born yesterday. I also find it oppressive and offensive that I am clearly being taken advantage of for my age and gender. WHERE DID THESE NUMBERS COMING OUT OF JP'S MOUTH EVEN COME FROM? I explain to JP, again patiently, that I don't understand. JP tells me, in front of multiple customers, that he "doesn't know what Will "promised" me," but that I should just leave and Will would call me. Could this seriously be happening? JP can't get his xxxx together enough to A, be professional, and B, communicate with his Manager in terms of pricing. I felt humiliated and defeated. I left thinking that I did something wrong and I shouldn't have questioned these men. I later received a phone call from the famous JP, himself, stating that I would need to pay $243.00 because tires on rims are more expensive (or vice-versa, whatever). I would like to point out the blatant SCAM these guys pulled on me, having me sign paperwork with one price, and then charging me another. I would also like to point out, the blatant and inhumane (professionally so :p) behavior of JP. JP was unprofessional on a number of occasions, not to mention demeaning. At this point, I have to drive BACK across the city because of JP's hissy fit in asking me to leave, and pay the bill. I want to take my tires and run. I DO NOT RECOMMEND KIA ON HUNT CLUB. Sincerely, a clearly oppressed and taken advantage of, unhappy customer. More

I went to Kia on huntclub looking for a used car (from a totally different brand) and that's where I met Jason. We talked a bit about the car in question and then we talked a bit about Kia as a brand. Never been a fan of it but after the discussion, I decided to add it to my list and start the investigation. After 2 months, I concluded that Kia was indeed a good/legit brand (as of 2016) and contacted Jason so we could start discussing real stuff. It was so easy going and fun that all and all, it took 1 week and half until I bought my car there. Jason is the opposite of hard seller, he even hard pressed me to give me stuff (rebates,tires/rims, etc) at the end hahaha (and I'm serious). So yeah, Jason, A++, would buy again. The finance guy was rougher and more of the hard sell guy side but in retrospective, he made sens and what he said was actually right. It's no different than talking to someone at you work place who knows what he is talking about (while you are not 100% sure)... it's not easy to debate. Just do some research on extended warranties and stuff and you will be prepared talking to him, he is a nice guy too in the end. Rest of the staff was super friendly too, to Mike from Atheer, everything was nice. They really gave me confidence and I would not be afraid to go shop there again. We'll see how the service department handles it from there ;). If you are not just about every single $ and you are not only focusing on that, I think buying a car is a somewhat enjoyable experience and it is a real good/fun one when you do it at Kia On Huntclub. Dee Murphy and Jason sat with me for almost 8 hours helping choose a vehicle that would best suit me, taking the opportunity to listen to my needs. I purchased a 2015 Elantra that was touted as being certified pre-owned with a clean car proof report. Figuring I was getting a good deal I decided to take the car after a short test drive. I told the sales man I wasn't the type to mess around and that if was straight with me, it would be easy sale for him. During the ride we spoke briefly about my experience at other dealerships and financing rates I had been offered. The sales man mentioned that Kia on Huntclub could offer me a much lower rate. We parked the car and proceeded inside to get the paper work started. I was pretty excited as I was just about to buy a new used certified pre-owned car that was in great shape!... Or so I thought... Red flag #1: The sales man offered me an interest rate that was triple the rate he mentioned he could offer me during the test drive, literally 15 minutes prior... The best part... that he didn't even run a credit check... I politely told him that the rate was much to high and that he should run a credit report before offering me an interest rate... Red flag#2: The finance manager offered me another interest rate that was even higher than the rate the sales man offered, literally 10 minutes prior... at this point I was really starting to question what the heck these guys were doing because they are offering rates without checking my credit...Further, each rate was higher than the previous...I was starting to get agitated as It felt as though these guys were just trying to take me for whatever they could. I firmly declined and asked him to run my credit report and offer me the lowest rate. Red flag#3: I tried to pick the car up early and was told that it wouldn't be ready until 6:30 to 7 PM... So I said no problem and waiting until the pickup time. This was the first major mistake I made... NEVER NEVER NEVER but a used or new car in poor lighting conditions PERIOD. When I showed up to the Dealership my car was out front and was extremely dirty. It was clear the car had been driven since the test drive. At the time I thought it wasn't completely abnormal given that I needed to be E-tested, safety and registered. So I left it go. Red flag #4: The sales man asked that I sign the paperwork before examining the vehicle. I told him no! and that I'd like to take the car for a test drive before we close the deal... He obliged and off we went. Everything seemed normal during the drive. We returned to the Dealership, the salesman directed my attention to the rust module that had been installed on the car and told me that he had worked hard to have the car ready for me on time. Everything seemed normal so we went inside to sign the paper work. MAJOR RED FLAG #5: The very next morning I noticed there was damage on the rocker panel... It was dented in and I knew that I had no hit anything the night before during the drive home. I contacted the Dealership and was asked to brining it in... This is when things started to go downhill... I spoke to Darren Villeneuve. When he approached the car the first thing he did was look to rear before me showing him the damage... I thought it was odd behavior and seemed very suspicious. But I let it go and showed him where the dent in the rocker panel was. He told that that it was a used car and that because the dent wasn't a safety issue that it wasn't completely abnormal!!!!!!! HUH!!!!??? dents in credited pre-owned 132 point inspected viechles sometimes come with dents? and that its normal!!!??? Lololololol....what a joke I thought... I pleaded with him to have it fixed... He exclaimed that he could have it fixed for 100 bucks and that he would follow up with his body guy. He said he needed 4 days to get an answer... So I waited. On exactly the morning of day 4 he wrote me an email and this is what it said " Darren Villeneuve "Good morning Xxxxxx, I have received a quote for the rocker on your Elantra. Total cost would be $699.87 including tax. I'm willing to pay half ($350.00). If you would like to move forward I will set up an appointment to have it repaired. I will also clean the vehicle again for you while it's here." I thought myself... Darren with almost 30 years experience told me 4 days ago he could have it fixed for 100 bucks... now he saying 700! I hadn't even owned the car a week. I paid $19,000 for it with taxed and extras and now he wants me to spend another 300 to get it fixed!!!! LOL... I agreed to his offer just to get the process started, with intent to taking my way out of paying later. Major RED FLAG#6: After a very uncomfortable conversation with Darren I decided that I needed to know my rights and so I called OMVIC. I was told that I could return the car if material information about the cars past was not disclosed. I searched the car hoping the find something... anything and lo and behold I found the an order rental car receipt in the glove box... What's this I thought!!! MUHAHAHAh my ticket outta here. I then checked the bill of sale... no where did it say it was previously a daily rental. I called OMVIC to confirm again!!! and was told it was within my right to return the car. More
No BS sales REP Courtney is a hard worker and she works for THAT SALE! She is patient and willing to work with the customer to ensure that their needs are met. I beli Courtney is a hard worker and she works for THAT SALE! She is patient and willing to work with the customer to ensure that their needs are met. I believe that Courtney did try to get me the best deal possible on my KIA. I would have never looked at a KIA before, but with the service and the brand name that KIA has developed over the short little while it had gained valued attention and reviews. I knew as a dealer that they work for that commission and some customers can be a hit or a miss after spending 2 hours with them, I just wish that I did not feel as rushed and things could be explained a little more. Overall, great experience working with Courtney. More

The sales-rep (Courtney) was wonderful to deal with: patient, friendly, knowledgeable and no pressure. Overall the dealership is clean, well laid out and customer-focused. Slight negatives: When it gets busy, good luck trying to find a parking spot! In addition, when you go to talk with the Finance Manager, be aware the meeting will take a while as there are several 'options'/additional coverage for the vehicle. Some people might find this intimidating, or feel like the experience is an upsell. Overall on a scale of 0-100(highest) I'd give this dealership a 90%, or 4.5 stars out of 5. (unfortunately this website doesn't allow 1/2 stars) More
