We went to Kelowna Chevrolet because we have had issues with our home dealership in the past and while in Kelowna the service department provided such great service we thought it would be the same with the with our home dealership in the past and while in Kelowna the service department provided such great service we thought it would be the same with the sales department. Our sales associate was very friendly and helped us order our new SUV with no issue. There were some issues when it came to delivery time, not being there on the dates stated, and for us who live 4 hours away, this was a big deal. We had also booked our other vehicle in for service thinking we could use the new car to get around. After a long discussion with the dealership they were quick to rectify the situation and helped us into our new car a few days later than expected and provided us a rental car to get around in. However it did cost us to return for the exterior protection services. There were some complications when we returned for that as well, we had asked for an extra piece to cover the back runner of the tailgate and was told it was done, but clearly wasn’t. Again, after a short discussion, they returned it to have it added. We had ordered winter tires as well, when we went to pick them up they were the wrong ones (turned out they couldn’t get the size we wanted in the style we wanted) but the parts manager was quick to find us what would work and have them incoming for our next trip to Kelowna. We also had some issues from factory with our new car that on our return trip we asked them to look at though and we were very happy with the services provided that day for that. I would say that the down side to this dealership is their communication. I would have liked more clear communication from all departments. I could go into detail, but we don’t need a novel. I felt very frustrated while the whole process was going down, but at the end of the day, they always came back to make it right and make sure we were happy with our new car. More
Emilie was pleasant when I checked in how ever that is about all I can say that is positive about my interaction with her. I have always valued the text messages I receive letting me know the status of my about all I can say that is positive about my interaction with her. I have always valued the text messages I receive letting me know the status of my service, I also like that once the my service is complete I can ask to be picked up immediately after its finished so I can be picked up and pick up my truck in a reasonable amount of time. So to my surprise after being ignored for an hour on my request to be picked up by Emilie I subsequently had to call the dealership to inquire if my ride had been sent, they didn't know I needed one and politely apologized and sent it. 10 minutes after I received a text from Emilie that the text are automated and she was on break (I sent the text for pick-up 1 1/2 hrs earlier) and she apologized again. She waisted 2 hrs of my day that "I'm sorry" will not give me back. My suggestion to anyone reading this is even if it's an oil change plan for it to be 4 1/2hrs or more of your day! That seems to be the new trend in the service department. More
Absolutely amazing to deal with and a wealth of knowledge, one of the best parts of the dealership! knowledge, one of the best parts of the dealership! More
We had a sit down because my last two experiences where bad, you told me you would do your best to turn that around. When I came back to pick up my truck from my oil change (4 1/2 hrs later) you came out t bad, you told me you would do your best to turn that around. When I came back to pick up my truck from my oil change (4 1/2 hrs later) you came out to see how my experience I politely pointed out not well and instead of dealing with it you 'B'lined it to your office and didn't come out, you did however uncomfortable stair at me while I left. No complaint about the work your shop did of for that matter has ever done but your customer service (if you can call it that) needs work if you ever want to get it back to amazing like it was 2 yrs ago. Here is some free advice (wether you want it or not) from a person who has relied on a gold standard of customer service to make a living most of his life...hiding in your office doesn't make the problem go away, just customers! Elizabeth is hands down one of the best employees at Kelowna Chevrolet. She is friendly, caring, and helpful. I feel she is way overqualified to be a shuttle driver (but she loves her job). Unfortuna Kelowna Chevrolet. She is friendly, caring, and helpful. I feel she is way overqualified to be a shuttle driver (but she loves her job). Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the management team at Kelowna Chevrolet. My experience with them has been horrible. Many mistakes were made, from issues with how my extended warranty was added to my purchase contract, to dozens of service/parts-related issues, and damage caused to both my vehicles while they were in for service on multiple occasions. In the past 10 months, I bought two trucks from Kelowna Chevrolet and after my experience, I would never recommend anyone step foot in their service department or on their sales floor. They work hard to get your sale but after that, everything goes downhill. The first truck I bought late last year was a certified pre-owned Z71 Silverado that was one year old. I had nothing but issues with this truck from the moment I drove it off the lot. It was in the shop for over two months out of the total five months that I owned it. Because of all the issues with this particular truck, I had no choice but to trade it in to get rid of the headache. Then I purchased a brand new 2024 High Country Silverado that gave me many of the same issues as the previous truck I traded in. Not to mention, I lost nearly $11,000 on trading in the first truck which was a lemon, to then have more issues with the brand new, more expensive truck. The general manager Jason W has been mostly uninterested to help make things right. He was more interested in making money and getting the next sale from me. I had to go over his head to the ownership group that owns Kelowna Chevrolet to get some results. Last week I went into the service department at Kelowna Chevrolet for more warranty repairs, two of which this dealership had supposedly fixed in subsequent visits months before. On this last visit to the dealership, there was paint damage to the rear passenger door of my truck. I noticed this damage the next day at which point I called the service manager who looked at the photos they had taken the day before when I dropped off my truck. I was told that the truck came into the service department with no damage to the rear passenger door, l then asked the service manager to look at their CCTV footage to see if the damage was there when I left their dealership. I was told that they would not check this footage and that management had canceled all current work orders, including parts on order, and didn't want me to return to their dealership again. I was told that my issues had been too great for them to handle. From my experience, Kelowna Chevrolet's management team is dishonest, unprofessional, and unwilling to help their customers make things right. Fortunately for me, I went to my regular car wash that day after I picked up the truck from Kelowna Chevrolet and I now have photos showing the damage to my rear passenger door when I arrived at the car wash. I shared this information with the service manager Cody J, but was told it doesn't change anything. Kelowna Chevrolet would fix the damage to my passenger door, but I would no longer be welcome at their dealership (as if I were the one that caused this damage to the passenger door of my truck). This entire ordeal and months of service-related headaches have left me speechless and frustrated. Now I have to start the warranty repair process with another dealership and go through the whole process of explaining what Kelowna Chevrolet repaired but didn’t fix the problems with the truck. Don’t waste your time and money at this dealership. Go anywhere but Kelowna Chevrolet! More
This is the very first time that I have ever left a review for anything. My wife and I purchased a new C8 Corvette Z51 convertible while on vacation driving around B.C., Alberta and Alaska note several review for anything. My wife and I purchased a new C8 Corvette Z51 convertible while on vacation driving around B.C., Alberta and Alaska note several months ago. We came across several dealerships in our travels which were all very good. What made us satisfied with the purchase of the car from the Kelowna location was based on several factors. Price as you may have guessed. FYI. We felt we did not get a screaming deal that was a once in a life time opportunity. But a price that was better than the next. In the price was swapping out some wheels that my wife liked and there were some extras that I am sure no other purchaser had ever requested from them in the past included. On our travels I could not make it on my own to see the car and pick it up so they sent a super nice lady named Joy to get me in Merritt (3-hour drive round trip for her). At this time, I have not purchased the car. After getting there and inspecting the car I noticed that only 3 of the extras that I wanted were in the car as I requested. I did not make any comments and the sales person reassured me that they would ship the other items to me at a later date. Which they did ship them down to our location in the lower mainland. Plus, while picking up the car I had several technical question about the car for track purpose that the service manager nailed them for me. About 7 weeks later my wife saw a letter on the back of the car broken that I had missed when picking up the car. They took care of that as well sending me a letter package with the word “Corvette” and said they would arrange the local dealer at our location to install it. But it was a simple fix so I took care of it myself. I hate lawyers, dealerships and car sale people. But these guys from the start with an e-mail from my phone driving along in Alberta to replacing the letter on the car weeks later are not bull xxxxters and they do what they say. So if you want to get a car buy it from them without getting a stick rammed up your you know where. Best Regards Kim More
