Sandra answered all our questions and included my whole family in the process, and went beyond; coming in on her day off to see us through to the end of the deal, detailing the truck herself, and staying late to drive about. She was very pleasant and made us feel welcome as part of the "Ford family." Sandra rocks! More
Rescued in a time of need On a Sunday afternoon my Mom, son and I were heading up Island for a week of camping. My van was filled to roof with camping stuff and, believe it o On a Sunday afternoon my Mom, son and I were heading up Island for a week of camping. My van was filled to roof with camping stuff and, believe it or not, a DQ ice cream cake with dry ice to keep it cold. Driving from Victoria, by the time we got to Duncan my van was struggling and misfiring. We stopped at a couple places that had no mechanic on duty and they were not that willing to help. We stopped at Ford in a last ditch effort to figure something out. Best decision ever! Kyle and Dan swooped in and saved the day. They took a quick look at my van and suggested we not drive any further. Within 20 minutes they had helped us unload what we needed and gave us a loaner vehicle to get back home in while we wait to see what was happening with my van. The next day we ended up renting a van to continue with our trip as my van would not be ready that day. When we started to unload my van and load the rental, Kyle and Dan were back helping us. As a single mother, having your vehicle break down is very upsetting. The pending costs and the stress of it happening on our way on a trip was almost overwhelming. But with such helpful people so willing to do what they can, they made the whole thing so much better. They even tried to help us find new dry ice for the cake! A week later we returned to pick up my van ($450 repair) and Dan was back helping us unload and load the vans. This was by far the best experience and service I have ever received. I will be back for sure! As we were leaving Duncan, the issues that were happening before, started again. They did not fix the van. There was no going back though as the dealership had closed. We made it to Victoria, but it was a very stressful drive and we barely made it. I called Chad, the service manager, the next day to tell him how upset I was. I felt that nobody listened to me when I said what was wrong and they fixed something I was sure was not the issue. Turns out I was right about what was wrong and had to spend another $500 to actually fix it. Chad was very apologetic and made me feel like he understood my frustration. He worked something out with me and I feel like I have been heard. As much as I am feeling frustrated by the situation, I would go back. You just can't beat the customer service at this place. Their willingness and eagerness to go above and beyond is amazing. This has been a very stressful experience, but the people have made it so much better. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate everything everybody has done for me. I will be back!! Thanks again guys!!! More

While i was going through the financing process, which included a few wait times, she sat with me and kept me company the whole time instead of going back to her job. I was totally impressed. You don't get that kind of service and attention at other dealerships. She even called me a week later to see how I liked my new escape. I would totally recommend her as your sales associate if you're looking for a new vehicle. More

We came into th Our experience at Island Ford was a positive one, in particular thanks to the warm and personal style of salesperson Sandra Jurcic. We came into the sales room after contemplating an update to our 2013 Focus (to purchase the 2015 model), but had many questions about the wisdom of this decision as well as the particular performance details and features of the new car. Sandra was helpful, friendly, thorough, and extremely adept at making us feel welcome - particularly as we had a young child with us throughout the sales process and this added an extra layer of challenge to - e.g. waiting on different stages of the process to be completed and making him feel included, etc. My impression of Sandra is that she is an effective sales team member who understands how to listen, relate to her client in an authentic manner, as well as how to make the moment of purchase feel like a special and meaningful experience. This is key to the auto sales industry, of course, as well as to many other job sectors, so I expect her skills to serve her very well in the years ahead. The three of us are very grateful to Sandra for the warmth and professionalism she showed us, and we are enjoying our new 2015 Ford Focus very much! When I started looking for a car last year I had a huge wish list and Dave let us know when there were similar cars on the lot. We decided to wait a year and revisit the car purchase, that didn't bother Dave at all and he called us a week ago to let us know that there was a car that was perfect on the lot, and the best part was it was a 2014 slightly used (12000km) and a great deal. I drove the car and fell in love. While reviewing the specs on the Island Ford website I realized they had just received the 2015 version of the same car. I applied for the financing thru the contact submission form on the web site and received a prompt response to let me know they received my information and we're working on it. Within hours I received the email saying I was approved. We went that night to look at the car in the flesh and it was perfect. I let Dave know I was going to purchase the car, most of our communication was via text or email which is perfect for someone like me with a hectic lifestyle. We arrived to pick the car up and Edie had the paper work done and ready to be signed. Dave and Edie are a great team, they are genuine people who care about your happiness more than the bottom line. The fact that Dave called a year after the fact to let us know there was a car that met all my search criteria speaks to what a wonderful person he is, he is definetly on top of his game. More
