Drove from Victoria to Duncan for a specific vehicle that was advertised. I was contacted by Rob who encouraged me to come up. He knew the vehicle I wanted. When I got there I was told that the vehicle (ther was advertised. I was contacted by Rob who encouraged me to come up. He knew the vehicle I wanted. When I got there I was told that the vehicle (there were 3 of them advertised) wasn't for sale as there was a recall on them and no idea when/if the part would show up. When asked why do they advertise vehicles that are not for sale he said something about advertising and they didn't want to keep putting ads on/off when there's recalls so they just leave them. He then offered a different vehicle at -of course- a higher price. I find this to be highly unethical! More

This review is not about purchasing a vehicle as the sales representative was outstanding. This review is about the frustration of having the company ensure the install of a level 2 charger in a timely sales representative was outstanding. This review is about the frustration of having the company ensure the install of a level 2 charger in a timely manner. Briefly, purchased a brand new electric vehicle. Promotion was a level 2 charger with install. Well it’s been 8 weeks and the work is not done or even scheduled. Island Ford has basically said it’s not their problem as the work is contracted out. I don’t entirely agree with that assertion, as island Ford should be upfront and honest about the time it takes to get the work done. Solutions should be offered and it sure would be nice to be treated the same way as we were when we were buying the vehicle. Perhaps I should have asked more questions ahead of time. Again, this poor review is not about the sales experience it is to do with the Island Fords poor customer service after purchase. I hope this review gets people asking questions and getting answers ahead of time so you do not have to experience what I am going through. Update: I contacted the electrician recently assigned the order and explained my frustration with the delay. They went out of their way and rearranged their schedule to accommodate me. Thank you to Island Electric Company! More
