Hansen ford service is their competitors best salesman Where to start, I have purchased 6 brand new fords in the last 4 years with 4 of them being at Hansen Ford, Purchased extended warranty on some, wa Where to start, I have purchased 6 brand new fords in the last 4 years with 4 of them being at Hansen Ford, Purchased extended warranty on some, was quoted $31,000 to replace and engine that I had purchased the extended warranty on still had 130,000 kms of warranty left. Took it elsewhere and had a "common" 6.4 litre ford problem fixed for $5600.00. took this back to Hansen and they told me they were sorry for misdiagnosing and would pay me back the 850.00 they charged me to diagnose- never got that cheque. I also presented that I had just spent 6+ thousand on an extended warranty plan they had no intention of honoring I would also like to be reimbursed for that. I then took my wifes expedition in with a power running board that worked 1/2 the time and Hansen ford informed me that I has to fail 100% of the time and even though it failed infront of them as long as it functioned periodically it was not warranty. Then I took one of my F550's in with a blown diesel engine, they told us to drive it until it blows as it wasn't blown bad enough yet, then they said it was bad fuel and asked for $18000.00 to do the fuel system I said no and took it elsewhere and turns out their mechanic had stripped the head bolts, so 8500 later at a different place the fuel system is done and back on the road. Took it to the dealership WINDSOR FORD across town they took 1 look and said your motor is blown can we put a new one in for you? Hansen has sent cheques to me to make up for a small bit of the money they stole from my company but not even close to what they truly owe. WORST service department I have ever seen or heard of. More

I had to get an out of province inspection done and they wanted to charge me 2000 more than the next place i went. They also failed the inspection on things that were not even failable in the government inspection book (I checked the book after to be sure) These guys are out to make as much money on each customer as they can! very poor customer service hi people, beware as this dealers customer service has gone bad. their parts prices have gone way up.they forgot to book my appointment after talking hi people, beware as this dealers customer service has gone bad. their parts prices have gone way up.they forgot to book my appointment after talking to them. had to wait 5 more days and drive with no sunroof. the warranty repair was for brakes that were not repaired properly the first time @ 22000km and to replace the "closed" sun roof that blew out while driving down the highway.after talking to two different service advisers a was told two different stories about both the brakes and the sunroof. as to who replaces the sunroof one says the dealer can and the other says it has to be done at a glass shop.as for the brakes i was told hansens lbx service has to do the repairs as they did the warranty work.so as it stands over one week later i am told i have to pay for the brake rotors that are worn out but were most likely over machined for warping the first time and warped 100 km after the warranty repair. the proper repair would have been to replace them the first time.as for the sunroof they have taken pictures and submitted them to ford for approval which was done friday and two days later as it is now saturday we still have nothing. they could have told me this when i booked my truck in "THE SECOND TIME" and waited i could have brought it in any time during the week and we would have had the yes or no on warranty.i told them i dont have time for the sunroof approval to just install it and i would pay for it i was quoted over 400.00 more than the parts dept would sell it to me for. so if you would like to have poor service and no vehicle for several days while they cant get organized to do 4-5 hrs work then go to hansen ford. for " THE POOREST SERVICE" I HAVE EVER HAD. l.d.
