Just don't waste your time Car was nice and in good condition but that's where the good ends. When we went in for financing they tried to get me to buy the loan insurance which I had no interest in but if I didn't the loan rate was 2 full percentage points higher? Huh? After disagreeing with her that not all loans were like that I proceeded to walk out the door. The sales manager, Yannick (Carignan- Rive sud ) comes chasing me and ask why I was no longer interested. I explain that his financing was a scam and that I was not going to pay for insurance or pay a "second chance" interest rate for a car. After begging me to wait 2 minutes for him to discuss another option with his financing department he comes out with an better rate than I was first offered and no need to buy the insurance. Why didn't they offer me that rate in the first place?? He goes on to explain that they let people figure it out on their own!! Crooks?? We make the deal against my better judgment. I left with the car that night with the promise to repair some minor repairs and to receive a second key. (chipped key $200) Upon returning a couple days later to repair some minor issues they inform me there is no second key and it's not their policy to have more than one key. Argued for too long and ended up leaving without a second key. Shows the kind of after sales support you'll get from this place. The real nail in the coffin for me was this morning after leaving the license bureau, went to install my plate and they had installed lag bolts in the holes to hold on their vanity plate instead of the proper bolts. I've already taken off every H Greg sticker on the car. I'll never recommend these people to anyone. More

To bring the car the next day for me to see it, must sign contract with a deposit. Deposit refundable 3 or 4 days later? Clause on contract must initial says $400.00 or 2% penalty? Management no help, salesman clueless with no patience. I was a cash buyer. More
Was the best price I found. I had the opportunity to inspect the car at a Lexus Dealer. The minor repairs that had to be done were completed by their mechanics. The sales staff was friendly and took the inspect the car at a Lexus Dealer. The minor repairs that had to be done were completed by their mechanics. The sales staff was friendly and took the time with me. With the financing department they explained me the different rates depending on the terms or amount financed. I took the night to think about what there were offering (extended warranty and loan insurance). I accepted to finance through them at a better rate than with my bank. The carproof was given to me upon my request and a inspection report. Finally I picked up my car and am very happy with my choice. I took the time to write this cause I saw what other prople wrote and think that we only hear the bad experiences, and I wanted to express my satisfaction that H. Gregoire gave me. I was refered by my cousin thats been buying from H. Gregoire for years. He swears by buying used cars to save the depriciation. Thanks More
More
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM H GREGOIRE. YOU WILL BE TAKEN FOR A RIDE AND TOTALY LIED TO. Everybody from the salesman to the manager to the finance person has totally lied to us about everything. The salesman li RIDE AND TOTALY LIED TO. Everybody from the salesman to the manager to the finance person has totally lied to us about everything. The salesman lied to us about the price of the car. The manager lied to us about having certain work done on the car that was not done when we came to pick it up. The finance guy lied to us about the financing and forced us to take a life insurance of over $2000.00 or the interest rate would go up. Once you sign the deal they just leave you there to pick up the car yourself. Nobody cares to be with you or to guild you to your car or explain the car to you. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life with any purchase I have ever done. They totally take advantage of you and don't give you any proper information. They are ones that give all used car dealers a bad name. If you buy from H Gregoire there is a high chance you will be taken for a ride. I am so upset at the time I have wasted at this dealership . I cancelled my deal and will never get back the 6 hours that they stole from my life for such unprofessional business ethics. DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME AT THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT. More

After finding a car, closing the deal, I went to pick up the car (St Leonard) My sales reps name was Roberto, seemed like a nice enough guy, I had partial payment via a cashiers check and the balance in cash. I pulled the money out of my pocket and heard Roberto say "all you Jews have money", wow!! I was with a friend (not Jewish) and she was in shock, as was I, Roberto showed a second of regret and then moved on like nothing wrong was said. I was a bit annoyed and was close to walking away but decided I would just suck it up and complete the deal. Some months later I decided I wanted to change the car, I went back to the anti Semite...... Roberto and was offered $6000 less then what I purchased the car for. I may have been more shocked then the "all Jews have money" comment. I was told by an alleged manager that losing $6000 in a span of 6 months is how the car business works. All that to say that my experience at HGregoire was eye opening to say the least, I knew the car business was sleazy, HGregoire really solidified that opinion with a side of anti semitism. More
We decided to purchase a car (model year 2006) at H. Gregoire. The first time we went, the car we were interested in was missing its battery. The second time, the battery was there but there was a pro Gregoire. The first time we went, the car we were interested in was missing its battery. The second time, the battery was there but there was a problem with the starter, but it got worked out in the end. Took it for a road test, and found that the car rode smoothly; it had good handling etc. So we decided to move forward and close the deal. Before we finalized anything, however, we had a good look at anything that needed changing. The tech guy signed off on our requests, and said it would all get done. It should be noted that because we saw the history of the car (although the salesguy was not pleased about showing us these details), and read that both the front and rear bumpers were replaced due to two accidents, we asked for a better price. The salesguy, with the OK of one of the directors, said we could have the car WITH the extended warranty we wanted, free of charge. So that was great, we were pleased and said we'll take it. We set a delivery date for the following week to ensure all the changes were made etc. One week later, we returned to the dealership to pick up the car, and found that only 2 of our requests were met. Also, the interior of the car was not clean. The ashtray was full of cigarette butts. The rear bumper still had scratches... etc. But OK... the guys said they would touch up some things, clean the interior... it was a done deal. When you're buying a used car, it's expected not everything will be 100% When we started to sign the papers, we noticed that the total price included the $2,500 warranty. It should also be noted that our sales guy was nowhere to be found. Something started to smell very fishy. We said that is not the price we agreed on. The finance guy and other managers in there were adamant that there was no way the company would offer a free warranty. If that was the case, they would jack up the interest rate by at least 4%. We told the finance guy that he signed off on it after the sales guy spoke to him. So after nearly one hour of not getting anywhere with these people, we decided to cancel the purchase and find a new dealership that is decent, professional and CUSTOMER SERVICE-oriented. There was no apology from anyone, save for one salesman who was dumbfounded by the way we were treated. Unfortunately, as he was not our salesman he could not do anything. We are not upset about losing the car. We are upset at the lack of respect a company must afford to customers, we are upset at the lack of customer service, and we are upset at the nonchalant attitude of the managers. If they think that their attitude is how a business is run, then they have many things to learn. We don't like to have our chain yanked. No one deserves that. More
