He showed the vehicle we were insterested in and lets just say the rest is history as we signed up that day. The bank was being a bit difficult but in the end it all worked out. We look forward to buying from Guelph Hyundai again and particular Scott. He is extremely friendly, easy going and doesn't push anything on you nor do the Finance staff. I highly recommend you buy a vehicle from here and please for you ask for Scott. More
Poor communication and time management - never called to say my parts were in. They were more concerned about my survey being completed than my car. - said it would take 2 hrs for work t - never called to say my parts were in. They were more concerned about my survey being completed than my car. - said it would take 2 hrs for work to be done. so I booked it for 11 am therefore would be done before 3 pm and it wasn't ( it was 2pm and they hadn't even started) -I was offered a courtesy car but they failed to mention that you needed a credit card and be 25. With the bad communication between departments and the horrible time management I won't come back and I won't be coming here for oil changes either. My next car will be a Honda. More

30k maintenance I was recently in for my Hyundai Elantra GT's 30k maintenance appointment. I dropped my car off early, at around 9am for my 1pm appointment. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call around 11am that my car was already finished! Service was great and staff were very friendly! More

First ever car purchase In 2011 I bought my very first car (2012 Accent), brand new, from this dealership. I had 2 recurring issues with this car... The first issue involv In 2011 I bought my very first car (2012 Accent), brand new, from this dealership. I had 2 recurring issues with this car... The first issue involved the engine light, which came on constantly for no apparent reason. I brought the car in several times with this same problem. Each time, they reset the light to turn it off. The last time, they changed my knock sensor in case it was malfunctioning and making the light come on. This didn't solve the problem. The next time I went back in again with this problem (my warranty had JUST expired) they suggested an expensive service that would solve it. So of course, the impression I get is that they wanted to put off this service until I was outside of warranty. The next issue I had was a lot more serious. My gas pedal started to stick. It was very bad - to the point where I actually had to drive with both feet so that I could pull the gas pedal up with my right toe and fight acceleration by breaking with my left foot. This made it very difficult to drive because at a stop light, I had to be careful to pull the pedal up before letting go of the brake so that I didn't ram into the car in front of me. When driving, releasing the gas pedal did not slow the speed. Actually, it often accelerated. I could drive down a stretch of highway without my foot touching the pedal and not lose speed. When I parked the car, the gas would rev out of control. This was really scary to deal with, especially since I commute to Toronto. When I brought the car in with this problem, all they did was lubricate it, which worked for about a week. I've heard of these cars having this problem, but mine is one of the first because I have a lot of mileage on it. But again, they didn't want to give me a serious fix until I was outside of warranty. I think it's one of those situations where they will wait for someone to get killed before recalling the vehicle. The customer service at this location was average. I often felt as though they didn't care to deal with me or explain things in any detail (I'm a female in my 20s and they probably assumed I don't know anything anyways). I wish I had been more aggressive in asking for these issues to be dealt with properly before my warranty ran out. Overall, my first car purchase was an extremely disappointing experience. More
Friendly and Helpful I found everyone I dealt with at Guelph Hyundai to be very friendly and easy to deal with, they made recommendations that were helpful to me. I retur I found everyone I dealt with at Guelph Hyundai to be very friendly and easy to deal with, they made recommendations that were helpful to me. I returned less than a week after the delivery of the new vehicle to purchase winter tires and steel rims, once again the staff were very friendly, Shelly even went out of her way to come out and say hello. This is my second time dealing with Guelph Hyundai and I will not hesitate to return or recommend the dealership to any of my friends and family More
