Inexcusable customer services Unfortunately, once papers were signed it seemed i was no longer a priority. It took Guelph Hyundai almost a week to tell me where my soon-to-be vehic Unfortunately, once papers were signed it seemed i was no longer a priority. It took Guelph Hyundai almost a week to tell me where my soon-to-be vehicle was in Ontario. When i reached out to another dealership to locate the same car, it took them 15 minutes. There was no explanation as to why Guelph Hyundai took so long, so my only conclusion is that i was no longer a priority because it was the end of the month, the sales rep/dealership filled its quota (or was trying to) and a new month had started. There was a significant lack of communication/updates - i had to to follow up for an update and ask many questions in order to get a small bit of information. This dealership also did not provide me with the full Purchase Agreement (a total of 3 pages with fine print). I received the 1st page, the only page i thought there was, signed it. It was taken away and then stapled to the rest of the contract after my name was signed. Very deceptive and unethical, in my opinion. After all this, i cancelled my contract and received my deposit back pretty painlessly (albeit condescending tones / passive aggressive comments were prevalent). More
Above & Beyond I recently needed service on my 2012 Elantra but had suregery on my feet so was not able to drive. I called my Sales Rep Allan Giles and he said no problem, I'll pick up your car on my way to work and get the service done. He did just that. During the service, a Service Rep (sorry forgot his name) contacted me to explain what was happening. I had a strut leaking so that would be covered under warranty. When the part came in, I still am unable to drive so once again Allan picked up my car & took it in for that repair. This is my second Hyundai Vehicle, both times Allan Giles was my Sales Rep. Allan is a very professional & personable at the same time. A pleasure to do business with. Allan goes above and beyond for his customers. A wonderful person. The Service Dept is also a pleasure to deal with, always prompt, polite, explains things in terms you can understand, makes appointments at your convenience. Hyundai Guelph has a wonderful TEAM put together. Everyone works well together. Bless them. More
Better than Timmies I want to tell you how good Ali Hammoud is. I dropped in to have a coffee and peak in the show room and came out with a new Sante Fe . But seriously I am not sure I would have bought if it wasn't for his low key approach and no feature was untouched. The other thing impressed me if he could not answer a question, he was quick to find the answer. AAA Oh by the way the coffee is good too. More

terrible service! I tried to schedule an appointment with Hyundai's internet scheduling service. I received a confirmation email saying that my appointment was confirme I tried to schedule an appointment with Hyundai's internet scheduling service. I received a confirmation email saying that my appointment was confirmed. The next day i received another email from Cie saying that the time i was booked for was occupied and that they had no openings for my car that week, which was weird because on the site there were lots of openings so don't book using the website!! So i told Cie when i was able to bring my car in and if any of those dates or times are open. I never heard back from him. I received a call a few days later from a girl saying that she booked me in for a Saturday morning at 11:15 am. Perfect so i had my appointment than. I got to the dealership about 15 mins earlier for my appointment, so around 11am. They took me right away which was great because they weren't busy. I told him that i wanted an oil change and a brake inspection on my car. My car was in the shop roughly around 11:10 am. He showed me to the lounge which was really nice. So i waited and waited and waited. An hour went by and my car still wasn't done. I'm not a genius or anything but i'm pretty sure it doesn't take an hour to do an oil change and a brake inspection. I kept waiting and looking. I was the first car in the shop and one car came after me about a half hour after me. I waited for another 30 mins. So by now i have waited an hour and a half for just an oil change and a brake inspection. About 10 mins after the service guy finally came out and approached me about my car. The oil change was done but he told me that my front brakes needed to be serviced and that my back brakes were completely gone and that they needed to be replaced right away. So i was alarmed that my brakes were THAT bad. So he proceeded to tell me the cost of everything to get fixed. It was over 500 dollars for the brakes and over 300 dollars for service. I understand dealerships charge more money but to me that was a bit much but anyways, he kept telling me that they really needed to be done. I said no. There was no way i was paying close to 900 dollars to get my back brakes fixed and have to wait another 2 hours, or who knows how long, after i have already waited over 2 hours! So he told me that he would get my car ready for me since i wasn't going to have my brakes changed. It took him another 30 mins to "get my car ready". May i add that the dealership service centre still wasn't busy!! When i went to go pay for my service i was charged 118 dollars for just the oil change and brake inspection! Good thing i had a coupon so my oil change was free but just the brake inspection was 72 dollars. I was earlier informed that my brake inspection was free but had to pay. It doesn't end there. I got home and was confused as to how come my back brakes were so bad that they needed to be changed right away. So i took my car into another place to get them checked. Well they told me that my brakes were completely fine! There was nothing wrong with them. They said that my front brakes may need to be changed in about 6 months or so but everything is fine!!! so i was going to be charged about $1000 the day i went into the Hyundai dealership and yet there was nothing wrong with my brakes! Disgusted!!! ~ So overall i waited far too long for my service to be done on my car even when it wasn't busy ~ They charged me for my brake inspection when i was informed that it was free ~ it took me like a week to actually get an appointment with Hyundai ~ and they tried to scam me to try to get me to change my back brakes when they didn't even need to be changed!! i will never go back to this dealership for anything! I rather drive a littler further to a different Hyundai! From: a girl who is absolutely disgusted! More
