A family member took in a vehicle for a Out of Province Inspection and was failed and told they required $11,000 in repairs based on their “inspection”. No check engine lights or noticeable driving symptoms or visual indicators yet they were still failed on the inspection based on a transmission code, and bushings failure and alignment need. For good measure they added BS overcharges for air cabin filter (which had been recently replaced), a tire rotation (even though it was also brought in for winter tires), and a brake service (which was done a few months ago prior to moving to Alberta) and other non fail recommendations. The vehicle was taken in to a referred mechanic, also licensed to grant OPI certificates and run in the city for 30+ years who inspected and passed the vehicle without any of the $11,000 in repairs required by Go Nissan South. Go Nissan South is a maliciously run dealership, and should be avoided at all costs. They basically held this customer hostage, mandating a ridiculous bill despite it not needing any of their repairs. And this would have prevented the customer from registering their vehicle in the province unless they paid a severely inflated sum that is about half the car’s value. I cannot stress enough how dishonest and predatory this dealership is. More

But the finance women and her manager met for like 30min; and included all the coverages with out my consent. Since I was rushing to go back to my work town. I think they saw this an opportunity and made me sign the wrong bill of sell. It was a total misrepresentation. I felt so sad! The cars price was posted as $19,900. But with the fake bill of sell they made me sign, now I have to pay $26,600 for a Rav4, model 2015. I will never forget what they did. I recommend people should not go there! It is Full of scammers! 0 customer service! The dealerships manager said to me; "How can I not help my Muslim brother!" This words say's a lot about they are attitude towards the customers. Because the meaning of this idea is, my religion will improve (or determine) the customer service I get from them! More

Friday June 09, 2023 My name is Betty, I am waiting for my used SUV from Go Nissan South, it is now11:45 am Friday and I have been here since 8:00am. I was told by Geo the sales assistant that my” loaner” my used SUV from Go Nissan South, it is now11:45 am Friday and I have been here since 8:00am. I was told by Geo the sales assistant that my” loaner” SUV is being cleaned and is not ready for me yet. I have been here since Thursday June 08 at 1:00pm and didn’t leave until 9:30 late last night, as they provided me with a “loaner” for me find accommodations to sleep. They reassured me that my SUV would be ready, however I am still waiting. I had a nap in the loaner vehicle in the parking lot in the 30-degree heat and I can hear the salesmen laughing and talking in the distance. Geo said he can deliver it to St. Paul on Monday but that does not work for me because I have no extra money to put gas or look for a ride from GoNissanSouth I am diabetic and I am hungry, there is nothing to eat in this dealership except for chips and pepsi. My truck is gone to the other side, and I have no family in Edmonton to help me out. If I knew this deal would turn into a marathon, I would’ve taken my business elsewhere. I am very discouraged about the SUV I will be getting because it’s taking them so long to clean. Is it a loaner like from the movie the mask where Jim Carrey gets a smokey loud vehicle versus the vehicle he brought in? My Ford was immaculate, not smoked in and barely had a drink spilled anywhere. I am very reluctant and very weary because when I signed the contract, I didn’t get to see the SUV I was purchasing. All I test drove was a cigarette smelling dirty SUV that Geo said “is like” what I was buying. This experience has been the worst about how salespeople handles their customers. I don’t think they would allow their clients to sleep in the parking lot of the dealership let alone in the heat. I just wish I can be done with this experience and never have to see the inside of GoNissanSouth ever again because I’ve been here for twelve hours as of noon Friday June 9th, 2023. Nobody came to see how I am doing or asked me a question or offered to inform me of the SUV that is being reconditioned for me. Sandra, the finance lady assured me that the SUV would be ready this morning and I missed an important day at work where I am a teacher. I missed Graduation. It was supposed to be a happy day but here I sit, waiting and waiting for the LOANER more like a GROANER. I am so not impressed with the service here and I feel this staff should be investigated for professionalism and compassion towards their customers. I am not sure how many more hours I will be here maybe till 10:00 pm again, who knows but I am not feeling good about my decision. I am very upset and tired. More

Which was false, at the time of purchase I was having vision problems, so I took them for honesty. was I fouled. they sent the lot boy in with my vehicle the next day. The car needed a new windshield and new tires. They would not do a thing about it, if with there so called 30 day exchange policy. The only person in this dealership, that was honest the greater at the door. More

We had the extreme pleasure of dealing with Hunter during our buying process and we were overly impressed with Hunter’s professionalism, his p South. Our experience with Hunter was never uncomfortable in terms of pushy sales tactics. He was always readily available to answer our questions and to assist us with our decision making. This really set him apart from the many other sales associates we have encountered. We truly appreciate how pleasant Hunter was to deal with and we highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. More

This is the worst dealership in the city of Edmonton . I spent over 60,000 on the Platinum pathfinder with the extended warranty and they have honestly not fixed one issue we have had . I ended up taking the Vehicle to Erickson Nissan to get all the warranty work done and they have been in one simple word fantastic !! They only want you to buy the car and then not follow through on anything after the get the sale done and the money in their pocket ! my word of advise is to shop anywhere else because they simple do not care about the customer at all !!
