After having a somewhat negative experience my wife and I decided to return to the dealership to see if we could get a deal on a new vehicle. Recently i was recommended by a friend to visit georgetown kia, My salesperson was Waj, he immediately made me feel so welcomed and asked me questions as to why i came in and what he can do to help georgetown kia, My salesperson was Waj, he immediately made me feel so welcomed and asked me questions as to why i came in and what he can do to help. I told him the type of car i was interested in, he told me Georgetown Kia was affiliated with other dealers, within the next few days he was sending me emails off many listings. Waj drove me to St. Catherines to see a car i was completely shocked that someone would do that, it was there where i saw my dream car! :) .... I told him my budget and he said he'll make sure he takes care of me. He never once spoke about price but rather it was all customer service. After i decided on the car, i had Mohsin take care of all finances he was it very simple and easy for me, typically i never buy extended warrantie, but he showed value for it great job Mohsin!!! they met my every request even got the car to me within two days which i thought would be impossible! I will recommend all friends and family to Georgetown kia! great job guys keep it up!! Once again Thanks a lot Waj/Mohsin!!! More
I had my very first experience with a Kia dealer on Feb 22 and and again for delivery of my 2011 Kia Optima on Feb 24. My husband and I are now expecting our second child and decided that it would be in our best interest to upgrade to a more spacious vehicle. Purchasing a new vehicle is always slightly stressful but Jay el decided that it would be in our best interest to upgrade to a more spacious vehicle. Purchasing a new vehicle is always slightly stressful but Jay eliminated that for us. He's very easy going and didn't exhibit pressure tactics of which we were soo used to in the past. This past weekend I spent 3-4 hours negotiating and finalizing a deal for a 2012 Soul with Michael Corcoran and the assistant manager Ken Shappert. Right from the initial phone call to the dealership i finalizing a deal for a 2012 Soul with Michael Corcoran and the assistant manager Ken Shappert. Right from the initial phone call to the dealership in the morning, I have to say everyone was excellent to deal with. Mike was great and worked hard to get me the car/deal I wanted, a 2u Soul in Denim Blue with a manual transmission. If you’re looking for a Soul the 2u manual comes with a bunch of features, alloy wheels, roof rails, etc., for the same price as the 1.6L automatic without these. I was quite disappointed however, when late on Monday I was informed they couldn’t locate the car that was available on the system Saturday afternoon. Apparently there is a worldwide shortage of the 2u manual models and it would take up to 2 months if I actually wanted to order one. There were however quite a number of automatics in various colours available. But this would add around $2000 to the sale! I wasn’t too happy about this. I don’t blame them necessarily but I don’t recall Mike or Ken mentioning that this type of scenario could happen, where there are lag times with the technology and the vehicle wouldn’t be available one business day later! At least I would have had a heads up. In any case, on Tuesday after a number of phone calls with Ken, I told him I wasn’t prepared to add $2000 to the deal. He repeatedly asked me what he could do for me, but I was fairly certain they weren’t going to give me the automatic for free. He said, no they couldn’t do that, but feeling bad about the situation, proceeded to offer me a fantastic deal on an automatic 2u Soul in Black Cherry. While it’s not the colour I had initially wanted, I have to say the black looks awesome. Yesterday I came in and closed the deal with Mike and once again experienced excellent customer service. I would have to say my overall experience has been a positive one and would recommend this dealer. Thanks guys! More
