My father had found the task of vehicle shopping extremely daunting, particularly as he had not shopped for a vehicle in almost a decade. He had been vehicle shopping for close to a year on and off. He had not liked the approach of some of the sales personnel he had encountered at other dealerships and other car lots. He had actually taken to driving to car shopping on Sundays when there were no salespeople around to "bother him." I live out of province and was very worried about the prospect of him driving his old car through another winter. I went with him to a couple of dealerships during a trip back to Ontario and over breakfast on the final week of my stay, I mentioned to my brother-in-law we were going to look around some more. My brother-in-law suggested Galt Chrysler. We met with Kice Ebady who showed him the Dodge Journey. My father found him friendly and helpful. My father initially found the new electronics confusing to operate, but Kice was always patient in showing him how the interior features functioned. When the colour choice of vehicle selected by my father appeared to have been sold on the dealership's inventory site, Kice made a point of personally checking this out to be certain and as it turned out it was still available. It would have been very easy to sit back and tell us that particular vehicle had been sold, but he took the extra step to ensure my father had his preference of colour choice. This meant a lot to my father. Throughout the process he was helpful, knowledgeable and professional - we would definitely recommend him to anyone vehicle shopping! More
