Misdiagnosis I did a substantial amount of troubleshooting on my truck prior to bringing it to the shop and diagnosed the issue to lack of spark in 2 cylinders and I did a substantial amount of troubleshooting on my truck prior to bringing it to the shop and diagnosed the issue to lack of spark in 2 cylinders and very likely a PCM failure. Provided all information I'd compiled to the dealership. They diagnosed the truck and came back with "your injectors are leaking, we should replace all 6". I said no, go back and verify spark. Sure enough... the injectors are fine. The replaced the PCM with a new one that was ultimately faulty, in the process burning out one of my coils. I was still charged for the (mis)diagnosis and I was charged for the coil that their new, faulty PCM fried adding an additional ~$450 to my bill. Better than if I was the average Joe taking it in and trusted them on the faulty injector diagnosis which would have me an additional $1,200 in the hole. The service agent was friendly but absolutely should have comp'd the diagnosis and coil that was functioning fine when I dropped off my truck and only failed when they installed a faulty part. More

Back up camera I have a 2013 F150. During a recent cold snap my back up camera went blurry. I called and made an appointment. I like the drive in reception, gettin I have a 2013 F150. No waiting at all. She called me around noon to let me know the truck was ready and everything was done. Great service and nice people. I'll keep coming back and recommend to friends and family. Service was OK at best There was some good parts to the service experience at freedom ford. The one negative part I can think of was that the service advisor was not able to answer all my questions and in general was making me start to feel a little stupid for asking questions(particularly on any product recalls or provide any info on product recalls). Another negative for me was the re-work of the price as I wanted to re-deem my owner advantage rewards but it was never mentioned that I could. So, I had to sit there and wait for the invoice to go to some one to come back with a new price adjusted. Overall I did not get a good feeling from it. I am satisfied with the servicing of my car but I do not have a good feeling with how I was treated. More

Too expensive Cost of service was too much, hard to believe crash sensor and wire harness replacement plus diagnostic was almost 1k. Was not aware of shop fee up front when quoted for the cost, not a huge deal because I would have gone ahead, but would have been nice to know. More
