Mario has been my service consultant for a about 3 years and he has always been outstanding. That is why I return to Erin Park for service and request his help when I come there. When was car was ready, Derrick was outstanding in organizing my exit. He was polite, helpful and has a great sense of respect for the customer. Sonia was at the pay counter and she was very polite and professional as well. Poor communication and no shuttle car??? I came in today for a quick oil change for my Rav 4, so I didn't bother to make an appointment and was aware of some Toyota recalls. I was promptly notified by the customer service rep John, which was a good thing. I had no idea, however that it would take 4 hours, since nobody bothered to tell me that's how long it may take. I sit there in wait in a nice pleasant waiting area, with the world cup on all 5 screens. Had I know it was going to take that long, I would've hopped in one of the shuttle cars, but lo and behold, nobody mentioned of any shuttle cars in the 4 hours I sat there! Seriously! no shuttle service? It wasn't terribly comforting to see that 4 maybe 5 employees, probably sales and possibly a manager and possibly a mechanic sat in to watch the brazil vs. mexico match. mind you it it was pretty exciting game. It felt like customers would come in, get called out cause their cars were ready and by 5 pm I'm still waiting, the only one left... so I finally decide to get up and ask one of the service girls at the counter how much longer it will take for the rav 4. She checks and I guess the kid, probably a summer student felt sorry for me and jaunts over to the back to get my papers promptly since John appeared to be unavailable. He quickly drives my car to me. I forget his name though, anyway thanks kid. It was probably a big job for that recall, but half a days work for one car? and with all the recalled cars that must come through your dealership? just doesn't add up. someone could have at least notified me of the wait period. I was quite disappointed with the lack of care and consideration for your customers.. I would expect more from a Toyota dealership. More
