However, I've recently been quite disappointed. On May 1st, I went in for regular service maintenance and oil change. The cooling service system was recommended amongst many items and I chose to do that one for $126.95. On approximately June 1st, my vehicle was making lots of noise and I also changed my alternator there for over $700. There appeared to still be some noise immediately after to which the service rep also mentioned but the mechanic insisted it was fine and everybody was in a rush to go home at the end of the day. Not surprisingly, some noise continued and I had to return again on June 16. It turns out the mechanic did a poor job putting it in so a bolt was rubbing against the belt. I had to wait all day with no phone calls, left two messages with the service rep, and finally went in person at the end of the day to learn this. While they were fixing their mistake, I was informed that there was a crack at my water pump and my rear brakes were due for replacement. I don't know much about vehicles, so I rather be safe than sorry and replaced everything as recommended. The bill came to $823. At first, I was happy that Toyota gave me a "discount" of $80 on the labour...considering I just spent $2000 there the last 2 months. However, it turns out I had to change the cooling service system again when I change the water pump, so I actually paid an additional $126.95 for something I just did a month ago! With the poor job on the alternator change, delayed info on the alternator, feeling cheated having to do two cooling service 2 months in a row, and all the time and inconvenience wasted going back and forth there, I have to say I'm disappointed and am considering going to another service location. Looks great but you'll regret it afterwards. We bought a slightly used 2016 corolla from destination toyota and I'd give 1 star for the following reasons. 1. Documentation fee of $495 is steep We bought a slightly used 2016 corolla from destination toyota and I'd give 1 star for the following reasons. 1. Documentation fee of $495 is steep considering they didnt provide record of the first and second oil change of the car prior to 22,000kms. Shame on me for not catching this prior to sealing the deal. I'm now crossing my fingers and taking destination's word that "certified toyota" means a guarantee that the car won't have its engine warranty denied by Toyota Canada if something does happen within the 5 yr power train warranty. All Toyota Canada needs to ask is "where are your 1st and 2nd oil change records? 2. Upon sealing the deal with the car, financial manager lies to us saying that we have to buy extended warranty upfront. Based on my other sources, you can buy extended warranty anytime before your factory warranty has not lapsed. So I'm glad I didn't fall for the lie and maybe I will buy from a different manager who is a little bit more "honest". 3. Cabin air filter was checked in the inspection sheet but I verified it anyhow after owning the car for 2 days. Cleanliness of the filter might be subjective but it was full of fur and leaves so I wasn't impressed. Tapped out the filter and put it back in and it's good to go so far. Air filter is what, less than $20 and took me 5 minutes to check clean and replace. Just disappointing that it would have been overlooked in a "certified inspection". So I wonder... What else could have been overlooked in this inspection which I have paid for in the purchase price. So I get a follow up email from destination asking for a review and so I told them of the 3 items above. They've followed up and called me as well to rectify item 3 which is great. So they ended up changing the cabin filter. Somewhat thankful but still not confident what else has been overlooked. So I must say, they do value customers. Reach out etc. But I'll leave it to the reader of my comment to decide if their inspections are trustworthy or not. Or I can take the chill pill and let them change it later during services for $50 which should have been done at the certification inspection and if I have not checked it myself, it's an extra $50 in my next service with them. No thanks but I think I'll bring my servicing somewhere else. More

AVOID unless you want to be SCAMMED!! Me and a friend came here to buy a Brand new vehicle from Destination Toyota, It was also our first time buying a Brand new car, but this dealership i Me and a friend came here to buy a Brand new vehicle from Destination Toyota, It was also our first time buying a Brand new car, but this dealership is a SCAM!! And I will explain why. Before making the purchase we went on the Toyota.ca website to configure the vehicle. We were interested in buying some dealer installed Interior accessories, worth around $950. upon signing for the vehicle and noticing the $950 price added on, we thought we would get the accessories we were interested in. Also before signing for the car I asked the salesman if the accessories would be installed in the car in which he said "yes, of course that's why you paid for it". So I gave my trust and signed for the vehicle. After doing extensive research and now finding out the accessories I paid for worth $950!! was not installed, I contacted the General Manager James Mcinnes via email about the situation of not getting the accessories installed, but he does not reply nor give a rats xxx about the situation. Its sad that James Mcinnes is the General Manager and when the customer has a question and wonders why they got scammed he just becomes silent. I also heard other stories about customers having problems with the service that they get from this dealership and when they contact James via phone call, He says " He is busy at the moment and will be in touch very soon" Then he does not call the customer back and just ignores their problem, Another one is when someone emails James Mcinnes about a problem he just becomes silent and ignores the customers email. He just ignores and does not care about anyone. I wonder how many customers are victim to scam practices at Destination Toyota. I also told everyone I know that were about to purchase brand new vehicles from Destination Toyota to avoid them unless you want to get scammed. I would not purchase any more cars in the future from Destination Toyota and I would advise all to avoid this dealership unless you want to be scammed!! Thanks Destination Toyota, you lost a customer for life. More
