Brutal end of lease buyout process When I wouldn't "cave" to the sales tactics and pursued my right to buyout my leased truck, all communication stopped. (Up to that point, I couldn't g When I wouldn't "cave" to the sales tactics and pursued my right to buyout my leased truck, all communication stopped. (Up to that point, I couldn't get them to stop calling me about a new lease) I spent a week, sending 3-4 emails, and leaving 3 phone messages to get the process moving. Not until I phoned Ford Credit and explained the situation did I get a call back.(And there was certainly no apology or even an attempt to explain the week long silence). By then my end of lease date was past, and it was suggested I would now have to pay interest! Laughable! I cannot explain how it went so badly, other than it appears Mr.Stevens was sulking about the deal he couldn't make. It was very unprofessional and frustrating....we will never go back to Courtesy Ford again. More
