Charlesglen Toyota is just like Family I had an early morning appointment (which I was 30 minutes late for) for a Precautionary Shift Lock Recall I was notified about and a leaky tire, yet I had an early morning appointment (which I was 30 minutes late for) for a Precautionary Shift Lock Recall I was notified about and a leaky tire, yet when I pulled into the warm, clean service bay I was greeted by all familiar faces. My appointment was with Colin (whom I have trusted for years) in the service drive-thru, but when Megan (another familiar face) noticed he was busy serving another customer, she greeted me right away and helped me get checked in. I had numerous other small items that I wanted them to look after for me, and she diligently noted all of them. I especially appreciate that she went to my car with me to confirm my concerns! I went to get a free coffee before leaving and I ran into multiple people from parts, sales and service that I not only recognized, but they also recognized me! They got me into a rental (a Brand New Corolla!) and I was on my way in no time. No sooner was I done all of my errands that I got a call from Colin saying everything was done, and ahead of schedule. When I arrived, I was again greeted at the service counter, but this time by Pam (yet again a familiar face), as Colin was on the phone. What a TEAM! All of my items were addressed perfectly, and the price was LESS than they originally quoted! What meant the most to me though was that it felt like FAMILY because they know me. And when you can recognize the faces of a business that you see on 1-2 times a year, that says a LOT about their organization's integrity. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your customers. PLAIN AND SIMPLE! Charlesglen clearly does BOTH! See you again soon! PS - Please pass along my "thanks" to your technicians Andrew, John the rest of the team in the shop too! They clearly care about their work! Great job guys!!! More
Best Toyota dealer by a longshot Having had a poor experience with a local dealership in Cochrane, I made the decision to not purchase locally but to head to Calgary. While I was doin Having had a poor experience with a local dealership in Cochrane, I made the decision to not purchase locally but to head to Calgary. While I was doing my research, I was speaking with a local repair shop and they commented that they’ve had many customers speak positivity on Charlesglen Toyota. Knowing that I was already going to purchase a Toyota my wife and I headed on over to see them. We were dealing with Kate online for a demo truck and it was just what I was looking for. Kate was great to deal with and we we’re able to come to a win-win agreement in short order. I wanted to have a few items added to the truck and those were installed with meticulous detail. Personally, I’m looking for a dealership who understands the value in a long-term business relationship and Charlesglen was that dealer. I couldn’t be happier with my purchasing experience and highly recommend Kate and the others without hesitation. Top marks in my books. More
Great experience with first car purchase Buying a car is exciting and terrifying at the same time. It seems as if everyone has an opinion on buying a car and while they all mean well, you do want to get down to the facts at the end of the day because this will be ultimately be your purchase. When I had met Kent Chow he was approachable, down to earth, full of knowledge, and gave me the run down on what I truly needed to know. He always had my best interest in mind and helped narrowed down my wants and needs for my car purchase.I purchased my first vehicle from him at Charlesglen Toyota in the NW of Calgary the whole process was smooth and transparent with fantastic customer service from him. I am thrilled to have everything I wanted and be within my budget. More

Needless to say, Paul G at Charlesglen changed my mind and I'm happily driving a new Tundra today. They have an interesting sales model. I wouldn't say it's "high pressure" but rather just the right amount of pressure, which I'll coin as "slightly more than neutral". It demonstrated me a higher level of respect for a potential client; higher than almost any vehicle sales rep I've dealt with in the past. Most reps want to get you in, get you signed and get you out with a low probability of speaking with that client ever again. Time will tell if they stay connected, however I can confirm that they have followed up a couple of times and it's nice to feel valued at the moment. Additionally, the dealership is amazing. They have a high level of attention to detail which I'm sure most people don't care about when it comes to the appearance of things, but to me, it matters. I like that the floor was spotless in the showroom. I like that the showroom had some display models, but it wasn't jam packed with no room to look closely at their products. I like that some of the products were changed out from my first visit to my second visit. I like that they have a cafeteria where you can get some food if you have to stay there longer than expected. I like that they had a separate showroom area to display your vehicle and walk through its operation upon delivery. I like that they've got an old Landcruiser on the showroom floor that pulled on my heartstrings as my family had one very similar in 1986 and I remember hauling around in it and going hunting with dad. It brought back some great memories. That aside, they've done a great job in the layout of the facility. It gives the appearance that it's much smaller than it really is. I recommend people take a tour of the operation and you'll likely be as shocked as I was. Hopefully you find this review helpful and that my experiences ring true with yours. One things for sure, I'll be a repeat customer! -Jeff O More

Boyd was welcoming and dug right in to find out what we were looking for. We had done research previously and were leaning towards a Rav4 - this cinched it! We looked at various finance options and with assistance from the Alison determined what would work best for us. All of the extras we added - we determined what worked for us. And the dealership had us in mind not themselves. Mark was very informative and helpful explaining all of the features when we took possession. We are enjoying our new ride! Thanks for all the help much appreciated. More

The service agent Dan W we worked with was honest, poliet, and super friendly as he checked me and my one year old in (late of course because of baby). They couldn’t find the source but double and then triple-checked until they figured out it was all a renegade plastic bag melting around the exhaust. Dan checked on us many times and kept us informed about what was happening. Even as my daughter started screaming the walls down, all the staff remained so kind and understanding- they brought her a toy and offered to help anyway they could. Every time I come here I’m impressed with how professional and helpful the staff are, even though it’s obvious that we are rich people. Thanks Charlesglen and especially Dan W and the lovely ladies at the appointment desk. More

I was concerned about the size of the truck so we did a test drive and went to my underground parking lot. Following the road test, the short box has become my number 1 criterion. We staid after closing I felt pressure to sign the contract. I was even offered a discount that was only valid the same evening ... We finally agreed on a Tacoma TRD Sport Upgrade Short Box 2019. The next day, I was informed that the discount did not apply on the contract the day before and I had to sign another contract and choose a 2018 model. Unfortunately the truck was not available on site so the dealer had to go to another dealer which would take some time. I trusted my salesman Jonathan words and I signed a contract model No / Body type: DZ5BNT. After a week without news, I contacted Jonathan and he followed up with Kurt the financial service manager who gave me the VIN so that I can contact my insurance. I asked Kurt to confirm the truck model and body type: "Tacoma 2018 TRD Sport Upgrade Short Box" and he answered "correct". Few phone calls and confirmation emails where not answered due to short staff issues in the financial department. So I bought a tonneau cover for 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport Short Box. During the reception of the vehicle, I saw that the box seemed long but I had already confirmed the model several times with two different person. When I arrived to install the Tonneau cover, I found that I did not have the Tacoma I thought I had signed for… The following day, following an email asking me to evaluate the dealership, I informed my seller that I had not had the truck we had agreed on. Jonathan replied that it was the buyer's responsibility to check the contract and that I had several opportunities to do so but once again, what is DZ5BNT mean to you? Nothing. You have to trust your salesman words. At the end of the day, Jonathan knew very well that I wanted and needed a short box but he will not admit his mistake. It is easier to blame the customer. I am now stuck to pay for a truck that is too long for my parking spot… I will never go back to Charlesglen Toyota again. More
