Very accommodating to my issue of a failed battery in their filled schedule. Dropped the car off and was expecting a 2-3 day wait. It was replaced at no cost to me the next business day. Over all I'm happy with Centaur Subaru. I've been taking my Forester there for years. BUT, my last experience wasn't super amazing. My breaks had become spongy so I asked to have them bled. I've been taking my Forester there for years. BUT, my last experience wasn't super amazing. My breaks had become spongy so I asked to have them bled. I dropped the vehicle off at 7:30 Am. The service department called me at 3:45pm asking for authorization to replace the cabin air filter which I had just replaced myself. I told them no and that I would check it myself and replace it if need be. The service rep pushed back on me and told me that it really needed to be changed. I responded again saying that I would check it and replace it if it needed to be. We went back and forth a couple times and I finally had to raise my voice and say NO. He told me that I would be able to pick up my car near the end of the day. When I got to the dealership the service center was just about to close and my vehicle was out for a road test. When the Tech returned, I was notified that the technician was not able to fully fix the issue and I would have to come back to have the brakes bled again. Since there hadn't been anything mechanically wrong with the vehicle, I am very disappointed that I have to return. Since the service department was closed I found them the following Monday to book the appointment. The woman I spoke to on the phone told me I didn't need to bring my car back because the service was completed and any residual problems should fix its self. I let her know that it was the technician who recommended I come back to have the issue fixed completely. The service rep told me the earliest I could get an appointment was a month later...to have the original service completed. What drives me crazy is that I had to give up my car for a full day, clear my schedule, and rely on family for rides. Since the problem wants corrected I once again have to give up my car again, rearrange another day's activities, and rely on my family for transportation for an issue that should have only taken 45 minutes to fix. 😪 More
