Birchwood Chevrolet Buick GMC

Not trustworthy I purchased my 2010 Colorado from Birchwood in February of 2011. It was the vehicle I wanted and will meet my needs. I purchased their protection package (big mistake. Read the fine print). Rust modules don't work... The hood was replaced after 7 years. this was covered. YEA! shortly after I informed them my rocker panels were showing signs of rust. Their rust inspection revealed a total rust repair bill of over $8000. Shocking!! I only had $580 left on my total coverage. Since none of the rust was perforated and I wasn't going to spend 8 grand on the repair I opted to go to Crown Rust Proofing at Bob's Transmission. I sent them the (Birchwood) bill and they did reimburse me the balance of the total coverage of $2000. Remember I had their rust protection MODULE. Until that time I had had my maintenance service done there and each time during their inspection there was some kind of oil leak and the estimated repair bill was around $1300. This is funny because the truck sits in the garage or concrete driveway and has never leaked a drop. Then I decided I it was time for a front end alignment. It was done satisfactory but the inspection report said my steering rack and my transmission was leaking. I paid the bill and left. Next morning there was a pool of red oil on the garage floor. How could this be. It hadn't leaked the day before so I crawled under the truck to do my own inspection. The steering rack was dirty but no wet oil. The transmission was leaking alright but when I put the wrench on the oil pan bolt they were all loose except the ones under the front driveshaft. Remember I had been in for a front end alignment. It appears to me they are in need of more labour money to pay for there never ending expansion projects. While the work I have done there has been ok.and their prices competitive, the direction the shop gets is to up sell up sell make extra work what ever the cost. I am not mechanical stupid and have my own code reader to do a pre analysis of any engine code so I know what I'm talking about. I should have learned when I traded my mint 2005 Blazer ZR2 for the Colorado. I felt I they had included a colonoscopy in the deal. And indeed they had. More

My wife took our GMC Terrain in due to the block heater not working. Service took a look at it and determined it was just a loose connection. They repaired it and sent my wife on her way....all at no char not working. Service took a look at it and determined it was just a loose connection.
