I live in Salmon Arm, B.C. which is about 35 miles from the dealership. I could just as easily take my car to Canadian Tire in Salmon Arm to have the same checkup done, but then...why would I??? Every time I enter the service area of BANNISTER, I'm always amazed at the cleanliness of their service area and show room. The service staff (Tammy Schiewe) is VERY knowledgeable about their product, which puts me at ease. One of the original salesmen that I dealt with when I bought the car (Udai Sangha) greeted my wife and I on the floor, and around the corner, Don Hodgin also greeted my wife and I as if we were long lost relatives. The price quoted by Tammy was almost on the money as to what I paid, and they didn't have my car any longer than what they originally said they would need it for. It came back washed on the outside, and cleaned on the inside....(a VERY nice touch!!) While they had my car in service, I arranged a "loaner" from them which was a very nice vehicle to drive while we were out. It was very clean and very comfortable to drive. When it came time to pay the bill, I dealt with George Evans, who patiently took the time to explain in detail the items on the bill, what was done, and also went over the "MULTI-POINT VEHICLE INSPECTION CHECKLIST" with me, explaining each item as we came to it. My car has just passed it's 2 year anniversary with 47000 km's on it, and both my wife and I absolutely love this car to this day. Never had a problem with it, VERY comfortable to drive and we love the way it "sips" gas. This is the SECOND best car I've ever owned, the BEST car I've ever owned was my FIRST car, which was a 1976 HONDA CIVIC, purchased new! On our way out of the parking lot, whether planned or by co-incidence, I'm not sure... Udai was there to see us off on the front steps. I'm not sure but I'd swear there was a tear in his eye...maybe not!! What else can you say about a company and it's staff that knows their product like the staff at BANNISTER HONDA in Vernon do? Well done, keep doing what you're doing, and I will always come back. More

CATASTROPHIC LOSS IS NOW OUR GAIN!! We didn't want to buy a vehicle, we had to! This wasn't in the plan. So our thoughts were on reliability, longevity, value, cost of ownership, fuel ec We didn't want to buy a vehicle, we had to! This wasn't in the plan. So our thoughts were on reliability, longevity, value, cost of ownership, fuel economy and size as I have a husband who has legs that go on forever. We tried a variety of vehicles, some were remarkably roomy which was our first surprise. We Kijiji'd, looked at other dealerships, weighed and measured (literally) used vehicles and depreciation costs. There were used Honda's on the lot that we seriously considered, and frankly, vehicles in both Kelowna and other dealerships in Vernon that were in the running to come home. We did our homework on-line so we'd know what to look for in our test drives, and reviews were accurate. (Edmunds and Car Complaints are good websites for information.) All vehicles drove well, some had enough torque for our liking while others were not quite what we needed, most were fuel efficient, and had more than enough features. We weren't into feature creep. We were in for a long time not a good time, so to speak. Turns out with Honda, you can have both. We got numbers from Enzo on financing costs and crunched all the numbers. We thought on it all over night. He was very patient even though he was busy, he took all the time we needed on all fronts to ensure we got the information we needed and were well looked after. We discussed service, warranty, and after purchase concerns.... that is TBC, I'll advise on whether we are pleased with the after care of not. With costs of financing we found the best value was actually a new vehicle, regardless of depreciation. We got a CRV as it has the driver's space needed for long legs, fuel efficiency, practical storage space, it is tried and true reliable, the driving noise was addressed by Honda, the warranty is comprehensive, winter tires were available for a good price, and the care at the dealership so far has been second to none. We have only used the Sales Department and Detailing so far. As noted above, the Service Department results are to be continued.... we will see them for our new tires and the tire sensor light on the dash that has popped on. On a more personal note, thank you Enzo for your outstanding sales service. We are grateful. You may be the only salesperson ever that I look forward to seeing again one day. More

Got exactly what I wanted. My husband ordered winter tires over the phone, Bannister Honda had the ones we wanted in stock! My husband made an appointment to have them installed on our rims for 3pm on Saturday, he was told if we brought the rims in earlier than the appointment was scheduled, the service department might get the tires installed sooner. I dropped the rims off at 10am and received a call from Andree at 1:30pm and was told the tires were ready to go. Pretty good turn around if you ask me. More

Good Service It took a little longer than usual, but, the work was ok. The previous time we were in the car was cleaned inside out, this time you could tell they hurried, but then again we were waiting so it is a little our own fault that they may have felt rushed to some degree. No worries ... all in all this is a good place to deal with and people are friendly and give good service. Udai saw us and asked if we were happy with the car... which we are... he took time to visit a little... very nice guy. More
